Reviewed By loumac22Omg! I cannot believe I was the last person to review this place. It’s the best place to stay in Colombo. This hotel is environmentally conscious. This hotel is immaculate. The rooms smell fresh and sweet. The staff cleans room every day. The shampoo and body gel is delightful. The lighting in the room is wonderfully ambient. It has all the graces of a luxury hotel yet it is so inexpensive. I can’t recommend this beautiful spot in Colombo 7 enough!!!

A must for repeat stay
Reviewed By semini_lkStayed in Rosmead Place by Thilanka for five days, wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with a balcony and garden view. The staff are brilliantly helpful specially Sanjeewa, a very pleasant, well mannered and accommodating guy. We came on a business trip, booked at the last minute for a quick stay, ended up staying for the whole period just because we loved how convenient and quiet the location was. Thank you Rosmead Place by Thilanka for a very pleasant stay. Looking forward to going back.

The hotel is beautiful, extremely comfortable, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Colombo but only about a 15 minute tuk tuk ride away. Definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfasts, some of the best food we've ever had, a real treat. This is one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed at, couldn't recommend more!!

Reviewed By Mounasamy MThis is was one of the fantastic hotel experience I had. For the value of money, the relax and experience we had were fantastic. Very nicely designed and maintained hotel. The room was very large and enough bedding capacity. There was a small kitchen area where we can cook. The relaxing area was like an exterior garden and the swing and the TV watching area were positives. Further, the responsiveness and the hospitality of the owners were excellent. Moreover, it is a very safe homely environment. Recommended for family stay. Looking forward to stay again. In.conclusion, a nature inspiring experience inside a safe house.

Not for children and faint hearted
Reviewed By JeremyPoolThe hotel is on a side street very gloomy after dark, but it still has a good location - 15 min walk to the Fort train station and bus station. In the vicinity, there is a large market and an old commercial part of the city. Rooms are located on the third and fourth floor without lift. The staircase is locked at night, so in the event of a fire, the escape route would be cut off! Although the interior of the building is bleak and not very clean, the rooms and hotel corridors are neat. There is a little problem with mosquitos and insects. The air conditioning does not work quite well (to turn it on/off you need to rummage in the fuse box in the corridor), but WiFi works fine. The staff make a bit quirky impression but are very helpful and friendly. You can easily pay by credit card. Hint: taxi drivers have trouble finding the hotel, especially at night. You must have your address and telephone number handy.
