Many sites of Jewish heritage to visit in Tarnow. There is even a Kosher restaurant, The Nosh, and a Jewish Heritage office for tours and historical information. Highly recommend a day trip.

Jewish cemetery

Reviewed By carolmZ6691HP

My visit to the Jewish Cemetery in Tarnow was very personal and profound. Two of my family members were buried there; one a prominent member of the Jewish Community whose headstone had been restored. I felt an overwhelming sense of connection to my ancestors in the cemetery saying Kaddish, and reciting special prayers for those in the mass graves. This cemetery has received the commitment of many individuals who have raised funds and physically restored the cemetery. Tarnow is a special place for me, and the cemetery in particular.
