Take a leisure walk between Boat Quay and Clarke Quay and enjoy the view. Clarke Quay is by the Singapore River, crowded every night, a lots clubs, restaurants, bars and live bands. It was full of people and music both locals and foreigners! One of the great place for nightlife in Singapore. Enjoy a River Cruise from Clarke Quay (Fort Canning jetty) to cruise along Singapore River and stop at (Eu Tong Seng Jetty / Bayfront North Jetty or Raffles Place Jetty. The duration is 40 mins. At cost of $25(adult) / $15 (child). The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a beautiful and stylish luxury shopping mall with a glass roof and amazing views of the Singapore financial district skyline. It has an excellent food court and you can visit the ArtScience Museum which is right outside the mall, as well as get the most amazing views of Singapore city skyline. There are some great restaurants here but what we really enjoyed was eating at the food court and enjoying the light display just in front above the round cordoned off area. We visit Singapore quite often for shopping and sightseeing and use it as a getaway, so we really like to come to this part of the island. With the ArtScience Museum and Gardens by the Bay which are nearby we will continue to visit the Shoppes in the future for shopping and eating and to enjoy the amazing views of Singapore's skyline.

Recently visited Singapore and my brother wanted to show us how Singapore functions in the whole night. So we took a cab and went to Clark quay where we took a walk around Riverside front and many pubs and stalls around. One side in a restaurant Halloween party was on and people were roaming with Halloween party costumes and it was funny to watch. There were music bands performing and in other area there were people dancing inside the night club with so many laser decorated lights. Then we moved on to see so many old heritage buildings on the opposite of the riverside front and there was one stall with German ice cream. Found the guy at the ice cream stall funny, because he was doing so many tricks with the cone ice-cream filled with chocolate ice that I ordered and he did the same tricks on me for at least 10mins and then gave me my chocolate ice cream cone. This is the best riverside restaurant with night clubs and pubs around and is situated on the Singapore River. The walk around Riverside front was so relaxing and after taking some photos we returned back to our restaurant past midnight. The people who will like these activities can go to this place.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel and found that the Suntec City with its 5 Towers the best place to shop and get our food. There are some amazing eateries in this area.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The suite was beautiful and in keeping with the hotels era. The butler service was very good, the staff through out the hotel were attentive, friendly, polite and helpful. The bed comfortable, a pillow menu allowing for a change if desired. An elegant bathroom. Comfortable chairs and a table on the balcony to look at the garden, was very peaceful. Breakfast in the Tiffin Room was extensive and encompassing both eastern and western food, served promptly in lovely surroundings. Altogether a perfect stay for our 50th wedding anniversary. All the little extras to help us celebrate were much appreciated. The pool area was also a popular spot with us, reminiscent of a by gone era.

This place is always happening even on weekday evenins as well as whole days on weekends. It has many good restarants on each floor as well as the food court on the top floor. Also, they have Mark & Spencer & Daiso as well as many well-known high-, mid- & low-end shops in addition to the movie theater on the top floor. I strongly recommend this place, and, though it is directly above Doby Ghaut MRT Station, you can access the mall by about a little more than 10-minute walk from Sommerset MRT Station as well.

ION is my of my favorite shopping malls due to it's central location. You can find affordable brands as well as atas luxury brands here. It's connected to both MRT and other shopping malls via underground link.

313 @ Somerset mall is very accessible from the Somerset MRT. Good mall with lovely alfresco style dining & of course Marchè my favourite place to eat in Singapore. Always has plenty of shops with real sales unlike some of the other malls along Orchard Road. Easily the best place to start & or finish your shopping experience along the famous Orchard Road shopping strip.

There's a bunch of stores in here that caters to all types of budgets! I visited this mall mid-afternoon in order to get out from under the hot Singaporean sun and after wandering a bit (it's easy to get lost but there are giant tablet kiosks to help you find your way and give exact step by step directions on how to get where you want to go to), I happened upon a hair dressing school. $6 for shampoo, haircut and dry? Sign me up! The facilities were clean and well maintained and had a very modern feel to it. You have the option of either having a student help you or a graduate (a bit more expensive). Of course with the student the teacher is there to walk around and supervise the progress of each cut. One of the best finds in this mall for sure. They were also setting up a space themed exhibit in the center of the mall with balloons which was pretty darn cool to see. Don't forget to wander outside to the top floors to get that great backdrop of Marina Bay!
