The Saarland (German: das Saarland, pronounced [das ˈzaːɐ̯lant]; French: la Sarre [la saʁ]) is one of the sixteen states (or Bundesländer) of the Federal Republic of Germany. With its capital at Saarbrücken, it has an area of 2,570 km² and its population (as of 30 April 2012) is approximately 1,012,000. We provide a wide selection of beers, including Guinness, Bitburger, Stowford Press Cider, Kilkenny and Franziskaner Weizen on tap, and many bottled beers. Our kitchen serves a simple and high quality menu with a range of burgers, salads, baked potatoes and more. We have daily specials and amongst the best priced (for quality) food on the market.We are by at large an entertainments pub, offering live music (Fridays & Saturdays), pub quiz (Mondays), karaoke (Thursday), football (Bundesliga and Champions League), and open-mic (Sundays), every week. We also have cocktail nights every Tuesday.Our opening hours are 11 am - late.

Seriously this place is just an absolute gem. It has nice beer (craft beer on tap!), nice staff and a lot of games you can play. Fancy a round of pool/billiard? Go there. Want to play table-football? Go there. Rather play some boardgames? Go there. The people you can meet are nice and the staff are around for a chat, too, if it's not too busy.
