This has to be one.of.the worst airports I have visited.the shortage of seats and lack of decent food is quite remarkable for a international airport.

We just spent 10 days traveling through the north of Ethiopia and can't be more grateful. Horizon has made our trip easy and super interesting. All the guides were great, but I'd like to call out Eliah in Gondar and Addisu in Lalibela, who were absolutely awesome. The drivers were also prudent and reliable. I've got the best possible service, as for me. I had a really good guide and great driver. He was very attentive: I did video on the way with opened windows and driver closed window for safety and said me I can continue to video street life. I liked traditional clothing market a lot: if you want to have really beautiful souvenir from Ethiopia, I think Shiromeda ( I'm not sure, if I wrote it correctly..) is the best possible place)) I really highly appreciative for the service I had. We visited Mercato market and I felt totally safe there: without a guide I would never go there. But with the guide it was very interesting and safe visit. The tour is flexible and it's great: you can choose what is interesting for you. We bought good coffee on the way and also I've tasted avocado and mango juice)) The owner of company is great and treated me in the best way)) Highly recommended Ethio Travel and Tours for your tours through Ethiopia and Addis.

We were lucky in travelling at a time with few tourists but had a fantastic time. The company was well organised and very honest. We had good information on the trip and what was expected. Our driver/guide was the perfect balance between giving us interesting information but at the same time allowing us to explore and ask questiions that interested us. The visits to traditional tribes were senstively done and visits were playful and fun. While we were in Addis the company took good care of us. Gasaw was very professional and attentive to our needs. He took us to a very traditional coffee shop which we woud never have found on our own . The traditional dinner dancing and singing was truely memoral.

The day trip to Debre Libanos Monastery was so amazing and wonderful, the arrangement was so perfect and the place was so beautiful, the view was so amazing. The guide take me to a lodge which has a great view of the Blue Nile gorge and we have a lunch there enjoying this view.

UNESCO has estimated that more mammal species would become extinct were the habitats of the Bale Mountains to decline than if any other area of equivalent size on the globe were to disappear and, when this is combined with rare amphibian species, endemic birds and spectacular flora, it is easy to see why the park is designated as a Biodiversity Hotspot by Conservation International.

In February this year (2021) I was in Ethiopia for the fourth time. This time I have been also in the Bale Mountains. It is not without reason that they say that these are some mountains and many worlds. There are many deer in the Dinsho Park. The Sanetti Plateau is a colorful plateau. Harenna Forest is a fairy-tale forest. and of course Tulu Dimptu - 4,377 meters above sea level. It's cold in the mountains. You need take a warm coat. But impressions are not forgotten for a lifetime! My guide in Bale was Ibrahim Ahmed ( phone/ WhatsApp +251912255345 ) I higly recommended him! He is very sympa and friendly person!

Just returned from 11 day Ethiopia tour with Alenehe as our guide. It was an interesting and enlightening tour covering major sites including the spectacular Lalibela-alone worth a visit to Ethiopia. Challenging driving on less than great roads but incredible mountain scenery and opportunity to see smaller cities and villages experiencing local life along the way. Comfortable hotels, great local foods. Alenehe was a great guide,accommodating and enjoyable/fun company. Recommend this Ethiopian company using local guides in all locations and benefitting local businesses!

Fantastic. I had a tour with Muluken (guide) 2.5 years ago, and this was great, just like last time. Muluken is a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable & he is the exact type of guide I look for on a tour. He is authentically friendly, not forced or fake. He gives information clearly, not just spitting it out fast / confusing. He wants you to learn about and appreciate his country. It was the highlight of our trip.
