Awesome place

I went with 2 friends and stayed at the suite, very comfortable, great price and most importantly great people. Will definitely go again. One small problem is that the building is a bit old so the kitchen/showers/doors could use a renovation.

You get what you pay for!

I paid cheap. I got cheap. The tzimmer is on a pretty moshav next to the border with Jordan. Although the tzimmer does not serve supper, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets on the moshav and nearby so no one has to go hungry. I ate at the nearby local pizzeria, which surprisingly had some of the best pizza I ever ate here in Israel. The Tzimmer looks nice on the outside and on the inside. It indeed was clean and comes with a large refrigerator and microwave. And best of all was the price. With tax, it was only 500 ILS. But the tzimmer does have its downsides: 1) No hand towels. Just one large bath towel. Most places give one of each to each occupant. Not here. 2) The bed situation. I came alone. To hike the next day in the desert. When I entered the tzimmer, I saw two single beds apparently meant for 2 children. Inside the tzimmer off the main room was a locked door. Later when I asked what it was, the owner said “It's the master bedroom with the large bed, but since you are alone, the one small bed is enough for you. No need to mess up the big bed.” I was insulted, but kept quiet. I was only staying for one night and leaving at 6 a.m. I decided to enjoy the evening and not be feeling tense and irritated. 3) And lastly - the worst - when I woke in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, the smell of sewer permeated the bathroom. Very unpleasant! It wasn’t there when I went to sleep or when I woke up (thank God), only during the late night hours, but it was enough to make my stay less pleasant. Offsetting the good with the bad, and factoring in the old adage of “you get what you pay for”: I give this tzimmer 3 stars.

great if you are prepared for kibbutz experience

Reviewed By mbM8255CJ

first of all, this is not a hotel. this is kibbutz lodging at its best: you arrive at a garden of eden like green amidst the desert landscape. the staff and the local kibbutz members are friendly and so happy you are here- they will go out of their way to make you welcome- special thank you to the manager- shes terrific! the bungalow was very clean, high ceilinged, new furniture, with decent kitchenette, spacious front porch, overlooking the rolling hills and the distant lights of the city (beer sheba?). the dinner was fine and breakfast was ok too. of all the negev (southern israel) kibbutz lodgings, this one gets hearty recommendation and i will come back when exploring the south again. by the way, i was touring with a group of mainly middle age couples.

BEWARE! Owner is a liar and double booked us.

Reviewed By jamieaM5819YH

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked to stay here for Shabbat and when we arrived the owner had double booked us. Instead of the villa we asked for (that someone else was staying in) he tried to put us in a double room in the back, with a broken toilet. It was dirty and pretty horrible. When we told him we couldn't stay (we only had ingredients as we were expecting a kitchen and everything was closed dor Shabbat) he just ignored us. Owner has refused to provide a refund and booking.com will do nothing. Don't stay here, the owner is clearly trying to make as much money as possible during Coronavirus. Be careful out there!

Way overpriced for what you get

Reviewed By 958gillia

The place is nice but certrainly not worth the cost. The hut was very simple - very nice and clean and with very good heating which is important in the cold desert night. We did not want to have dinner because it was another high extra cost. Breakfast was included but was very dull and disappointing. Toilets were about 300 m from the hut which made it almost impossible to use at night - no lighting at all and freezing cold outside. Seems like everything you discuss at first with them is not remembered - we were promised a big hut and did not get it and were told at the spot that nothing is guaranteed. We invited a guide for a stars view and told them ahead of that and even asked if it would ok to do it from the venue and were answered that it is great to do it from there. But when the guide came, the owner came out telling us it's a pity they were not notified ahead that this was the plan. At the end of the day - the place is nice, and possibly a lot of fun in spring and summer, if you want complete isolation. But certainly not for the cost - 1260 NIS for a family with 3 kids...

Seven Mirrors

Bad experience

Reviewed By 82renatev

We stayed for one night at Seven Mirrors. We booked two rooms. While booking it was not clear that the rooms were in the basement without daylight and a bathroom, only to reach through the public corridor. The noise from the communal living room comes loudly into the sleeping rooms. Aswell as the sound of water running if the guests in upper rooms take a shower or flush the toilet. The beds in the room of our kids were extremely worn out, you won’t even dare to let your dog sleep on it. Overall the rooms and bathroom need to be repaired because of being worn out. Beware you share the house with other guests. In our case we were unlucky to find some housemates being drunk already at 5 p.m. So staying in the communal living room was no option for us and staying at the basement room was totally depressing. We were very happy to leave after one worse night. We will never return!
