Reviewed By devjayakodyA very warm welcome was given. The room was spacious. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and always helpful to us. What made me love this place was when we came late after a religious activity at around 11:30pm ,, the staff members were still awake and welcomed us. Thank you.

The family is one of nature's masterpieces and "Kutumbaya' signifies family. We have designed our villa in a manner which would enrich the true meaning of family where each room has been designed to include a small kitchenette and all other amenities required to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one. The villa is located within a short 5 minute walk from the main Anuradhapura (New Town) bus stand and is a 8 minute walk from the Anuradhapura Railway Station. In addition to the in-house a-la-carte restaurant, several other eateries, food outlets and restaurants are located within close proximity.

The owners Ms Thara and Mr Ranga together with their lovely mom were really helpful and friendly from the point of making the booking. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The family room which I book regularly has ample space was well equipped and spotless. Bathroom tiled with stones give a natural feeling. If you look forward to prepare offerings to Lord Buddha, room is equipped with a small pantry and sink. I must say the location of the resort is at one of best places in Anuradhapura. When someone want to visit the Pooja City they can avoid the town from this location and reach the site within 10 minutes. Restaurant staff were excellent. They made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Food was tasty. Once we return from our visits, it was so convenient to have the restaurant at the resort. Excellent hospitality.

Amazing guesthouse
Reviewed By EwaForeverMy friend and I stayed at Homely Guest for two nights in February 2020. We loved everything about this place. It has a beautiful garden with sitting outside, perfect for relaxing. The room was nice and clean but most importantly the lady who runs the guest house is super nice and very helpful. She prepared our room super quickly as we turned up without booking quite late in the evening. In the morning we got amazing breakfast with coffee which we ate sitting on the terrace and chatting to the super friendly owner. This place is really amazing and good value for money too. Location is perfect:quiet but close to the main road, town and a bus stop which is located when you walk up to the main road. We got help with renting a motorbike and booking a visit to national park. We would recommend Homely Guest to everyone visiting Habarana. Excellent service and 5* stars from us. Flo and Eva

Reviewed By 又三郎正式名称はBarthi tourist guestだと思う。 オーナーは親切で一期一会を大切にしながら経営している。 ビール大好き。 部屋は値段相応の設備。 コンセントはB3のみだが、変換プラグを貸してくれる。 レンタサイクルあり。 ダブルベッドの部屋は蚊帳、３ベッド以上は液体タイプの蚊取り線香あり。 wi-fiはフロント付近のみ。 従弟が日本で働いており、困った時に相談に乗ってくれる。 予約はbooking.comがお勧め。

Fantastic homestay in Anuradhaphura
Reviewed By Orlaith GWe stayed here for one night in Anuradaphura and really enjoyed our time here. The family running the homestay are so friendly and helpful, preparing an impromptu lunch for us on arrival and making a delicious dinner for us in the evening. They also organised a brilliant tuk-tuk driver for us to see the sights of Anuradhaphura and Mihintale, making sure that we could make the most of the very short amount of time we had there. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep there. Highly recommend this spot!

Reviewed By SunilKeppetipolaOur Annual visit to the holy city of Anuradhapura. We were in Anuradhapura on the 7th & 8th of August 2018 and stayed @ Lake Monark. The accommodation provided was very good. Room was kept clean. The manager & service staff was very courteous. The Srilankan food provided was of standard. Maybe we will make another visit to this place next year too. Recommend this place for people who visit Anuradhapura for religious purpose.
