Great location, service and room
Reviewed By Jinda Si reserved twin room. Room is big, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is quite big and good. Very good services and friendly staffs. There is free bike serve. This hotel near many places that attraction places such as Morning Market, Nan Museum, Tourist Center and many Temples etc.

A unique destination on the bank of the Nan river, just 9 kilometers from downtown Nan. 5 building types with 9 rooms from rustic bamboo huts (2) to contemporary (5) to traditional northern Thai (2). Guests can enjoy our outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi and outdoor shower for up to 5 people with unrestricted views of the Nan river covered by a natural teak canopy. Nan de Panna offers a full service restaurant and bar, along with in room massage and spa treatments. Massage and spa treatments are by appointment. River access is available, along with kayaks and floating bamboo huts (free to hotel guests) and motorized canoe with captain for an additional charge. Nan de Panna is a quiet and secluded haven while offering free wifi in all rooms and in the public spaces. All rooms except bamboo huts have satellite TV, mini refrigerators, free bottled water and refreshments for sale. great place to stay
Reviewed By BreizhoNan de Panna is a great place to stay. Its location on a bend in the river is beautiful and tranquil. The grounds are perfectly kept. The rooms I stayed in were large, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed reading my book in a rocking chair on the balcony, with a view of the river. All the members of staff are very friendly and well trained. I will certainly stay here again.

Chic, but noisy and overpriced
Reviewed By Howard BOn the plus side, this resort is conveniently located for a stay in the area, looks attractive, has comfortable beds, is clean, has pleasant staff, and a good Thai breakfast buffet. The downside is the noise; our Blue Room was about 80-100m from Highway 101 and the incessant traffic noise was pretty awful. Also, the walls between rooms appear to be poorly soundproofed. When trying to sleep, we could clearly hear people in the next room talking (not shouting, just talking normally). Very frustrating. Our Blue room was attractively designed, but a bit short on amenities; electric sockets not convenient (only on one side of the bed), only one bedside table, no bedside lights, no hooks in the bathroom for hanging a toiletry bag or dressing gown.... If we'd paid, say, THB2,000 for the room and breakfast, I would feel the value was reasonable (but the noise...). However, we paid over THB4,000 a night which I don't think the quality of the accommodation matches up to. Good luck to them, I say, if they can fill the resort (12 rooms the receptionist told me) at such prices, but we won't be staying here again.

Reviewed By micbus1704before talking about the hotel i want to tell u about the beautiful city of nan. im living in thailand but its the first time i see a very clean city and well maintained. beatifull temples,excellent night market and great city atmosphere. pay attention during weekends it wont be easy to find an available hotel's room. i was there through the corona time and still at weekends rooms quickly get full all over the city. we stayed 10 days in nan in four different hotels and sawadee lanna is the best out of the four. LOCATION-excellent 400 meter from night market and main temples. ROOM-big very clean and great view(third floor). AIRPORT SHUTTLE-the hotel provide 2 ways free airport shuttle. StAFF-very polite and helpful the only problem that many times there is nobody at the reception but it easy to find them. Bicycle-the hotel provide free bicycles we used them quite often through out the city. BREAFAST-some days its buffet(if the hotel got many customers) and some days its kind of set menu.regarding the breakfast i think there is a lot to get improve. CLEANING-like i said the room are very clean but at the stairs between the floors its can be improve. INTERNET-teribble internet service the hotel got a good signal but you cant log in the got some i.p problems we stayed there 5 nights and they didnt made any effort to fix it.so basically there is no internet. Dont get we wrong i will still come back to sawadee lanna because it a good hotel and if they just do small effort its will be excellent hotel.

Nice and clean room
Reviewed By Sara FThe room was big and clean. A huge bed and the cleanest and more comfy sheets I had in a while. The room opens on a balcony overlooking the rice fields. Price very much affordable, even for solo/budget travellers. 5min walk from the market. Everyone very nice.

Somewhat Perplexing
Reviewed By MamaSanChiangMaiNestled amongst the bucolic shadows of downtown Nan, the Chic Inn transliterates into Thai as “the chicken.” Intrigued by both the local pronunciation and meticulously florid yet oddly Byzantine décor, it was only upon check-in that it’s more likely nature was revealed as being perhaps a “chick inn...” Overall great value, what it lacks in amenities like shampoo and soap, it makes up for in ambience that even includes an outdoor patio overlooking a lovely rice field with occasional baying and cuckooing.
