Bathroom tabs were broken there were cockroaches in room and bathroom. They will provide u dirty bucket and mug to bath. And top of it so expensive food with more than an hour of delivery time. I just can say Pathetic!! Pathetic!!! Huge disappointment.

Reviewed By RevatilaulI never look at getaways on the outskirts of the national capital since this is my birth place and home. However, when my friends scattered across the globe decided to meet, this was the only place we could all converge on without having to pull rabbits out of our hats. I came to Golden Creepers because my friend suggested it and I didn't have the time to check it out or build an expectation before I got there. The first thing I saw was the big bustling canopy of a mulberry tree and a charpoy with colourful cushions placed conveniently under it. It was an instant connect, as if a piece of my childhood had broken away from the past and re-attached itself to the present, in a timeless preserve, like sickly sweet jam on hot toast. The rest of my time was spent looking at the world from under this tree. In the distance, a peacock hopped onto a brick wall. Nimbu paani, breakfast, lunch and then dinner made happy indulgent appearances before disappearing around the corner leaving me to fuse time past with time present. It was the best kind of holiday because it did not feel like a holiday, it was like living in lapsed time. Our host, the owner - Daljit Kataria was generous and warm. He showed us around the thirty acre farm as if we were guests who'd dropped in for a meal and somehow decided never to find our way back home. We were a fussy lot. I had an irritable bowel, one of us was vegan, we had a twelve year old who had to be plied away from devices. But the casualness of the place is precisely what made it special. The nonchalance with which everything was presented made us feel like we hadn't arrived there but were present like the mulberries and the flies that were fat and on a sugar high from too much berry juice and the whole point of our lives was to lie listlessly in the April sun, catching up on years and times gone by. Then one of us would play the guitar, another disappear into a Tintin comic. We were told there were 80 species of birds to be spotted but it was hot and we were not about to make a project of our holiday or count. I spotted four or five kinds of birds. We went for a long walk with the host past wheat fields and small lily ponds. All black hens from beak to toe strutted about, chest first and macho, like the Haryana men they were in apparent competition with. We were spoilt silly by our host and were very, very happy with the experience. I recommend this retreat if you're looking for time out with friends that is timeless, unfussy and decadent.

Reviewed By Trip314434It is nice, small and clean property. Rooms were clean and adequately furnished and equipped with oil heaters. Bathroom has hot water round the clock but cleanliness was average. It has one restaurant. Food was average. Staff is friendly and helpful. Views are scenic. One can sit and enjoy in front of hotel or in the backside. Swings for kids are also there. Peaceful and serene location. Tikar Tal is about 20-25 mins from the motel. One can enjoy boat rides, water sports and camel rides for kds over there.
