Reviewed By rus_ritaПриехали из Негомбо на тук-туке после перелёта, сил хватило доехать только до бентоты. Забронировали не глядя , в итоге оказалось все просто супер. Жили втроём с ребёнком, была отдельная кровать. Номер недорогой , 5000 рупий за 2 ночи. В номере вентилятор, его вполне хватает. Хозяева разрешают хранить продукты , пиво в своём холодильнике. Можно попросить приготовить морепродукты ,рыбу, берут 500 рупий за кг. Или можно попросить Ананду съездить на рынок, он сам едет рано утром на рынок , Покупает все по хорошим ценам и вечером готовят вам ужин. С разнообразными салатами. На территории есть парковка: 2 тук тука и байк спокойно влезали. Месторасположение удачное , хозяйка вам покажет короткий путь до пляжа. Рядом есть неплохое кафе Bamboos garden и отличный пляж , где мало волн. Можно порыбачить с камней, что мы и сделали. Поймали огромную барракуду. Хозяин старается , зажигает вечером средства от Комаров. Спится отлично , никаких павлинов, тихая улочка. Рядом есть wine shop, пешком 700 метров. Хозяева утром угостили местным десертом, в виде сладкого Риса с кокосом и блинчиками роти.

Channa Villa Bentota is located just less then 350 meters from the lovely Bentota Beach. Bank, post office and railway station is 3 minutes walk from the villa. You can walk to the supermarket in 5 minutes. Each room is equipped with A/C and minibar. In the lobby you can watch satellite TV and just relax.

Reviewed By willmU6922FUVery clean and comfortable a/c rooms with quiet, shaded terrace. Friendly and helpful hosts . Excellent breakfast included. Channa is also knowledgeable on what’s good locally. He is very happy to provide transport and arrange trips for surrounding areas.

Reviewed By Yeomans80There is currently one room to stay in. It has its own separate entrance, balcony. The room has everything you might need and room. Fantastic for the price. They are currently building another. The breakfast was huge and sooo very tasty. The best bit about his place is the owner. I literally felt at home the moment I got there. Nothing was too much trouble. He organised me a boat Safari with pick up from bottom of garden within 10 minutes of me asking. He also invited me to join him his family and friends to the Bentota Perahera, Buddhist festival which happens once a year. This is honestly a perfect stay.

Reviewed By WhitwamvBentota has become very fashionable and it is hard to find somewhere that isn’t a very pricey boutique hotel or anonymous resort. Ewe and his Sri Lankan wife run a very personal, friendly guesthouse of five rooms. It is set back in amongst coconut palms and there are birds everywhere. The rooms are simple and clean with a balcony and efficient air conditioning. There is a communal kitchen where you can get drinking water and store your own drinks which is very useful, The beach is a short walk away - it is a quiet end of the beach and there is a quite a lot of rubbish in this area. At the far left end there is a safe place to swim and a couple of resorts where you can get drinks. The communal breakfasts and dinners are very good - you sit on their pretty verandah and the portions are very generous too. The only area that could be improved is the bathrooms. They are clean but there is a pervasive drains smell. The tap in our bathroom had come loose too. Maybe they need to be open air- we stayed in other places with very stylish open bathrooms. All in all, I recommend this place if you want somewhere more personal

Good Night Sleep
Reviewed By pradeepthaStayed one night. Place was clean and nice smelling towels. All facilities were as shown on the photos on booking site. AC was good however there were some small mosquitos (but there was a net). Food was good. Owner is freindly and helpful.

They were so helpful and friendly, and made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a great view from the balcony. Excellent value for money!

It was like being at home

First of all, I have been accommodated by very nice people, always welcoming, available and informative. They let you feel at home and for a traveller is essential. Breakfast was very good also. One day, If I’ll be back to Sri Lanka, I will choose Bentota not only for the beautiful place, but also thanks to them.
