In the evening they offer guided (only in Japanese) night star viewing by telescope, remember to reserve it at reception. We had Japanese style room which was really nice with beautiful view on the river. Hotel offer indoor nice onsen, but with view to mountains and Shimanto river. In village limited dining option, not open each day.

Nice Onsen Hotel
Reviewed By ivanlieckensThis was our second hotel in Japan and the first Ryokan type with Japanese style rooms, futons to sleep on and Yukata to wear around. Our room was very spatious and had a washing table and private toilet. This was out of our stay the largest room we’d had the pleasure of occupying for 2 nights. The hotel has a shuttle service to pick you up from the nearby trainstation but be prepared to ask in Japanese. Transfer takes about 15mins by car or you could walk 1,5h. This area is bus or car and when using the bus be very careful as there are only about 6-8 busses a day depending on where you’re going. We had to fall back to using a taxi because of missing the bus once. Make sure to enjoy the hotel’s onsen with a magnificent view and “outdoor” bathing! The breakfast buffet is Japanese and extensive. Dinner is also available which we enjoyed twice as there is nothing else really in the area but don’t worry the hotel restaurant has excellent and very affordable dinner options.

Reviewed By reassure春休みに家族（4人+1匹）で宿泊しました。 一戸建てのコテージ２ＤＫ トイレバス付 ベランダ付き 裏手にＢＱＱ施設あり。 ペットのトイプードルが一緒に泊まれる宿を探していてここを見つけました。基本素泊まりみたいですが、朝夕も追加で付加出来るので、夕はＢＢＱ、朝は通常の朝食を頼みました。 部屋も広く、車も施設に横付け出来て荷物の移動も楽々でした。宿のオーナーも優しいお方でした。また泊まりたいと思います。 何か不自由があったとすれば、次の日の朝早くにフェリーで出発したので、お土産屋さんが閉まっていて。小豆島土産が買えなかったことです。特にホテルとは関係ありませんが・・・

Charming, good value and comfortable
Reviewed By tofer75The hotel is very easy to reach by car. Also quite convenient from Matsuyama station with a five minute walk from the Dogo terminal of the classic streetcar. A five minute walk from the historic Dogo Onsen building and the Dogo neighbourhood. The hotel is a very well maintained and clean vintage of the 1960's (this is my guess). We had a Japanese style room, so a comfortable futon is arranged for you on the floor while you are out for dinner. Our room also had a small sitting area near the window. Not so spacious, but not cramped either. There is an indoor hotspring fed bath serving hotel guests. I slept like a log! The hotel appears to have some wedding business as well given the arrangement of the lobby. There is a gorgeous and well maintained garden on the south side of the building (surface parking is on the north side). The buffet breakfast is extensive with a good selection and quality. Overall this hotel is excellent value!

The highlight of this hotel is being able to view the night time city lights of Takamatsu City.”in its entirety.” The panoramic view from Bokaiso atop Yashima is spectacular. Selected as “Japan’s 100 Sunset”, “100 Night View”, the view from Bokaso will make your time in “Yashima” very special.
Cancelled due to non flexible management
Reviewed By Ean TWe have planned a long drive from the south and expected to arrive late. The management couldn't guarantee or arrange to kept the up hill entrance gate open for a 30mins extension at 10:30pm. Took us a few days with back and forth email and calls, had to cancel!

コスパが非常に高い宿泊施設。
Reviewed By reiya1999大人2名で1泊しました。ツインルームです。食事は無く、素泊まりとなります。滞在した上で良かった点を4点、気になった点を2点記載致します。 ■良かった点 （1）友達の家に遊びに来たような感覚で寛げた点 1Kタイプの間取りでした。ドライヤーなど最低限必要なものはすべて揃っています。バス、トイレ別です。防水パンまでありましたが、洗濯機はありません。ガスコンロもありましたが、使用不可です。あとはベッドが2台あった以外は、友達の家と同じ感覚でした。デスクも完備されています。ホテルとはまた違った感覚です。日常生活の延長のようなイメージで、ゆっくり寛ぐことが出来ます。シャワーも水温、水圧ともに問題ありませんでした。ゴミも落ちておらず、タオルもきれいで、きちんと清掃されていました。機内持ち込みサイズのスーツケースであれば、二人分は広げるスペースがあります。 （2）喫煙可能な客室であった点 愛煙家にとっては必須条件でした。客室に灰皿も完備されています。自宅にいるような感覚でゆっくりと寛ぐことが出来ました。 （3）ケーブル類の貸出があった点 旅行中にスマホ充電用のUSBケーブルが断線してしまいました。近くにコンビニや家電量販店などが無かったため困っていましたが、フロントにて相談したところ、スマホに合うUSBのケーブルを快く貸してくださいました。かなり助かりました。フロントにいた男性スタッフの方もとても感じが良かったです。 （4）駐車場が無料だった点 駐車場は屋根が無い平置きになります。平日でしたが、かなり台数が止まっていました。ビジネス客を含めて宿泊者が多いのかも知れません。中には駐車料金が別途掛かる施設もありますが、こちらは無料となります。 ■気になった点 （1）車の音が気になった点 アサインされたのは1Fの客室でした。すぐ近くを道路が通っていますので、夜中でも車の音が少しだけ気になりました。 （2）近所に飲食店が少ない点 施設の周囲には飲食店は数えるくらいしかありません。餃子のチェーン店、カレーのチェーン店、あとはちょっと値段が張る居酒屋さんくらいでしょうか。夕食は市内の中心部で済ませるようにスケジュールした方が選択肢は多いかと思います。コンビニも近くには無く、業務スーパーがあるくらいです。業務スーパーにも立ち寄りましたが、普通のスーパーと同じような品揃えで、かなり広かった印象があります。客室での自炊は厳しいですが、夕食はこちらで購入して済ませるのも1つかも知れません。 総じて、満足できる施設でした。かなりリーズナブルでしたので最初は不安でしたが、期待以上でした。学生グループの節約旅にも最適だと思います。
