Located on the Strait of Gibraltar where Africa meets Europe, Tangier has long held strategic importance. Ruled through the centuries by waves of conquerors including Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs and Portuguese, the city is more than two and a half millennia old, making it one of North Africa's most ancient. The medina, kasbah, bazaars and souks are among the country's most vibrant, and the beaches are excellent. In the last century, Tangier became a hot spot for the international jet set.

Hilton Garden Inn Tanger City Center is perfectly located for your stay in Tangier, Morocco. This new hotel is steps from the city's major infrastructures. Thinking about a family getaway? Our hotel sets the tone with a modern design, Moroccan touches and an all-glass facade for stunning views of the city and Mediterranean Sea.
small rooms , but good location and clean . Was expecting a much better breakfast experience in terms of variety especially for the cost of the hotel rates. Also this hotel ONLY has 3 lifts !!! It can be very very painstaking . Breakfast staff were very very good with their service . Was asked what room I’m staying in by front security which I found very odd seeing as they were constantly seeing me in and out . Not very pushchair friendly the security staff at times would have to lift the pushchair when coming in . The area around is very very busy with locals due to the train station and McDonald beach area . Decent hotel I wouldn’t stay again at this particular hotel but would recommend to others

They messed up three times with my room. I have traveled to over 50 countries and never stayed in a place that messed up my reservation like this one. it literally says “balcony” in the reservation, which I paid extra for. Not only did it not have a balcony (a blatant lie), but they first took me to a (incorrect) room that had two twin beds. I researched so much for this trip with my bf - no way in hell I would’ve chosen a place with two twin beds. I told them they are wrong and they denied it. They then took me to a second incorrect room until they realized and admitted they took me to a second incorrect room. All this being said, I still have not been reimbursed whatsoever for paying more for a room with a balcony that didn’t exist. Lastly, I asked for a quiet room and was given I think the nosiest room on the property that directly faced the Medina on the first floor (heard men shouting all night outside - even on a Sunday night). wow, really regretted booking this place for our last night in Morocco…

The view were great from the front of the hotel. It gives you a historical feeling. The breakfast was good. One gentleman at the reception helped me with my luggage to the parking far away on the morning I checked out, I unfortunately failed to get his name but he was much more helpful than the other reception staff. The restaurant and cafe staff were smiling and courteous. First; although the maps shows one like there is a car road to the hotel, it is totally wrong! One can't get to the hotel by car, pronto! One has to park either under the Medina walls at the bay or on the outskirts of the Medina on top of the hill, but with this option be ready to drive through narrow roads with pedestrians, motorbikes. Second; I got a room at the back overlooking the Medina, which first looked like a semi-great prospect opposed to the sea front rooms, turned out to be a nightmare later on. As the clock passed, the sounds of the street below just echoed into the room. I couldn't neither close the windows because; Third; The room was smelling badly of mold. It hadn't been aired at all. I had to wrap the sheet over my head not to smell the mold when I tried to sleep amidst the noice from the street.

Fantastic central location . We were welcomed by the lovely French owner , who offered us the traditional mint tea whilst explaining to us how to navigate around the local area and provided us a map. She recommended restaurants and booked the Hammam for myself . We booked 2 rooms which were both incredibly spacious , and a fantastic rain shower. Breakfast was a real delight ! Fresh fruits , feta and warm breads . My daughter had a fresh omelette with hot chocolate . Can not recommend this place highly enough . Welcoming , clean and traditional . Ibis Tanger City Center is a contemporary economy class hotel in the center of Tangiers, close to the city's train station, beach, main restaurants, and trendy nightspots and ideal for business or leisure stays on a budget. Ibis Tanger City Center would like to welcome you to 24-hour care and attention in a pleasant, friendly setting. The Wok & Co restaurant offers a healthy variety of wok cuisine in a high-quality atmosphere.
It was just OK in all fairness, pretty much what you expect from Ibis! The room was basic and could have been a bit cleaner but it was decent. The location for us was ideal as we just had a day in Tangier before getting the train so it was close and was good for the mall too and some western comforts. The room could have been cleaner and it would be nice to have a safe. Plug sockets were in awkward locations too which was annoying. An alarm went off at 6 am and the phone in the room wasn't connected so we had to go down to see what was going on!

La Maison de Tanger offers the friendliness of a guest house and all the comforts of a luxury hotel. Ideally located, in an exceptional setting, with garden and swimming pool, easily accessible by car from the Grand Socco, Boulevard Pasteur or Boulevard Hassan II, our guesthouse offers a supervised 24/24 private parking.
I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars for Maison de Tanger and its team. The experience that Marjolaine and Zakaria created for me and my husband during our first-ever visit (definitely won’t be our last, inshallah!) exceeded expectations in every way, despite the enthusiastic reviews that encouraged our reservation. If a room is available during your travel dates, don’t hesitate to book! Also, a hotel run by a team affiliated with Canadian music artists? Yeah, it’s just as cool and friendly as it sounds. You’ll be perfectly located within walking distance of the Kasbah, medina, and oceanfront, yet nestled into a blissfully quiet oasis replete with a lush garden, pool, and even a modernly equipped fitness center. Original artworks and endless books throughout the common areas set the tone for this cozy yet sophisticated boutique hotel. Each morning, you’ll be treated to a breakfast buffet featuring seasonal fruits and locally-made pastries, with eggs made to order. Hearing the morning birdsong while you enjoy your first meal of the day in the hotel’s sunroom or garden makes for a truly magical start to your days in Tangier! In the evenings, the shared roof terrace offers a perfect space for enjoying the sunset along with a glass of wine or mint tea. The rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds, strong water pressure, and fast WIFI. While the hotel’s website photos represent the rooms well, we were surprised at how much larger the garden and pool area were than we were expecting. There are so many common areas in which you can engage with other guests, or find a private nook in which to feel as if you’re the only person in the world. Hotel managers Marjolaine and Zakaria and their team are what make Maison de Tanger such an unforgettable experience. They are wonderfully warm and engaging hosts, who will make you feel like dear friends. They certainly did for me and my husband, whose birthday we were celebrating during our visit. They went above-and-beyond to create a magical stay, full of surprises. Thank you, Marjolaine and Zakaria, for your kindness. We look forward to seeing you next time (and we’ll explain the story behind the ‘fairy door’, too)!
