Loved our stay
Reviewed By gregmI352WYWe loved our stay. Great staff looked after us so well all week. They were friendly, efficient, capable. We’d particularly like to mention Varanisese, Dan and Sera who always called us by name and enquired about our day. They and all the staff made us feel very comfortable. The room was great as was dining under the stars. Those marvellous sunsets are memories we will carry with us.

Reviewed By emtnemsStayed here for 5 nights while working in Fiji. Very friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was above average. General cleanliness was very good. Two complimentary bottles of water provide in the room each day. The pool is a little in the open, and hence not many guests take advantage of it. Had a great drive to the airport with Mohammed. Friendly and talkative. I learnt more about Fiji politics in the 30 min drive than I knew in the past 10 years. However watch out for the scammers outside the hotel. They start up a friendly conversation, then give you some artefacts as a present, then go on to ask you for payment. Tell them to go away. One guy approached me and said hello using my name, said he worked at holiday inn as a security guard, then walked with me into central Suva. Pointed me towards his mates artefacts shop then promptly asked me for some money for a drink as though he had done me a favour. Not sure whether that is in his job description. Otherwise, a very good stay

I called from raki raki to book my stay and spoke to to Joseph K over the phone who is the night duty manager and he was soo professional over the phone. The day I arrived Joseph and the stay made me feel like I was home. They were all so polite and helpful. I give a 10/10 they made my stay so welcoming. I’m blessed to be able to have another family at Tanoa Plaza Suva. I really can’t wait to be back to see you all.

Raintree Relax
Reviewed By BulamanpmI have been staying at the Raintree on and off since 2005. It has gone through some challenging periods. I can state after my trip this month it is back on top of the game! Raintree has a range of options from budget to "full" fare and I have stayed in all of them . I travel for business and this location is quiet yet very close to all the destinations I need to visit in Suva. Typically nowhere in Suva is more than 30 minutes away (rush hour excepted!). The new staff are excellent and the split business format (Restaurant is a different business unit) took a minute or 2 to figure out the service and quality was good. I was saddened to discover the original builder/owner Tom Davis had passed away last year but if he is watching from somewhere he will be happy it is in good hands!

Reviewed By Nikhil_AdvaniNot a bad place. The room was huge, with a separate living area. Had a bit of dingy feel to it though. WiFi didn't work very well in the room. Didn't have any meals here, as it was a quick stay. But there are some good restaurants a short walk away. They take a $50 cash deposit on check in.

Reviewed By Daryl HI stayed here for four weeks recently, almost the entire month of December. I was in Suva for a temporary work contract and needed a place in that location, and also having a fridge and microwave was an added benefit. I stayed in one of the bures (cottages). I absolutely loved it! It was cute, kinda upscale rustic, very comfortable, had a little side office nook with a desk, and there were windows on all four sides of the bure, so lots of daylight (except on the tropical cyclone weekend when the windows were boarded up). It was very nice to have a pool onsite, I swam whenever it wasn't raining. The staff at Five Princes were very helpful and kind (Mosese, Ecka, Cathy, and Esetha). And a special plug to Auntie Bo Bo in the restaurant. She is amazing! Every dish that came out of her kitchen was stupendous. Especially loved the grilled fish and the pasta. Thank you all! If I ever return to Suva, you can be sure I will stay at 5 Princes again.

Disappointing
Reviewed By simo789Renovated rooms are OK bathroom was lovely with a great shower. But if you get an old room yuk! No WiFi reception in the room makes it hard when trying to do business. Pool tired but refreshing but closes at 6pm way to early if you've been out all day & want to come back to relax. Stairs are a killer if you are on the top floor. Majority of hotel not like photos on internet at all.

Reviewed By KuzururaStayed at the City Apartment on 23 and 24 January 2020 and paid FJD$158 per night for two adults and a 14-year-old in a room with two double beds, private bathroom, towels, TV, air conditioning and WiFi. There's a communal kitchen with a fridge and cooking facilities. Breakfast included in the price. Long pool good for swimming laps. About a 15-minute walk from central Suva. Staff were helpful and we received a room upgrade on arrival for no extra cost. Recommended for a comfortable stay in Suva.

Reviewed By dipalidakshaGot a standard room with double bed. It's good for a person, might get a little congested with two. Had some issues with getting the correct water temperature in the shower. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided in the room. Room has a TV with a few channels and air conditioning. Safe is available in the room to keep your valuables and i got a nice view from ny room. The room looked a bit old but overall its alright, you get what you paid for. Would advise to book during specials (i went during the $99 local special deal) Customer service was very nice. Hotel has a shop and restaurant (Hillcrest), swimming pool, bar and lounge area Breakfast wasn't included with the room but for an additional $15fjd you get fruits , tea/ coffee/ juice, Weetbix/Cornflakes, toast with jam and butter for breakfast
