Clean & comfortable, very close to the beach
Reviewed By spin_n_scubaFrom the outside, this hotel looks a bit dated, but inside the hotel underwent a complete renovation in 2017. Everything has been updated and renovated, and the rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms provide level-in showers with a rain shower, and everything was spotlessly clean. On the ground floor, the hotel provides an on-site restaurant with a comprehensive breakfast buffet, a small bar area, and dinner with a limited but high quality menu of selections. There also are several very good restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping within easy walking distance. The hotel is located very close to the beach and boardwalk, so it is easily possible to walk from the hotel into the Wadden Sea National Park area that is only minutes away. The hotel provided free, fast WiFi. We had requested an electric wheelchair for one of the guests in our party, and the hotel's service in this respect was exemplary. We were fully prepared to encounter some potential issues, but the hotel delivered the very modern wheelchair complete with charging cable, usage instructions, etc. Great service! My only suggestion for possible improvement is to add some basic hotel information in English language within the rooms. The binder with hotel information was exclusively in German, so non-German speaking guests may not be able to easily understand the services offered by the hotel.

Very good hotel
Reviewed By Destination302985I enjoyed my week long stay at the beach motel very much. The location near the sea is great, the staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. Breakfast is delicious, the place is very children and dog friendly. The rooms are ok, unfortunately they don’t have a mini fridge and no aircondition. The cleaning of the rooms was ok as well, but not super, especially with all the sand from the beautiful beach. When the hotel is fully booked, parking places you pay for are not always available. The food at the diiek restaurant, which belongs to the hotel, is ok, but nothing special. The price for the hotel is not cheap, therefore I would expect aircon and a minifridge in the room. Overall, I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Cosy New England Style hotel at the coast (Northsea - Germany)
Reviewed By Heiko FI have been to the hotel a number of times and if you want to be directly at the sea side this is one of the places to be. About 1,5hours far from Hamburg, the hotel is directly at the biggest beach of Germany. Down to earth and just enjoying the rough weather, the waves and wonderful clouds, kilometres of white sand, very nice and cosy restaurants and a "feel like home" hotel! Be aware, you do not need to care about the weather, it´s an all-year hotel and you will enjoy all the year long. The hotel itself is very nice, extremely friendly staff, good SPA (not to fancy, but very relaxing). The style is more warm, a lot of candles, in a number of rooms you will have your own SPA too. Dogs are really welcome and you just can be yourself. Breakfast is very good, sometime a bit too crowded. For the restaurant "Esszimmer" ("Dining Room") I would recommend to make a reservation. If you want to have 1 or 2 days off, this is the place for you. Please ask for a higher floor with sea view - it´s worth it! Parking is for free.

Easy to book and beautiful hotel
Reviewed By KaptainWThe hotel has a warm and comfy area that is open 24/7 where guests can lounge and warm up from the chill of winter. The price was great being the cheapest out of all the hotels we visited. For 91 Euros my girlfriend and I got a comfortable room with great space and commodities and a modern style bathroom. In that same price we received a large buffet breakfast. Even if you are not staying as a guest, the breakfast is worth getting here. There's a wide selection of warm and cold foods including eggs, sausage, and bacon, meats, cheeses, salmon, yogurt, along muesli. Along with a great selection of fresh buns and spreads, and gourmet teas, fresh coffee, and juices. As the first Canadian to visit there, the staff was also very excited and welcoming. I would highly recommend this homely hotel.

No hot water in the evening?
Reviewed By TravelAndTell2014Basically I was satisfied with this hotel even though the wifi was off the first night, there was no traces of a receptionist after 8PM (the number listed on the phone in the reception was for an answering machine) - but then I found out what seems to be a decade (ref older reviews) long problem for the hotel persists; no hot water in the evening!? Fours stars, junior suite - and no hot water. That is simply a joke. Should cost them a star.

Great young hotel at the sea

It is located directly in the center and at the beach in the town where the pier leads to the beach in St. Peter Bad. You can reach everywhere - whether in town or at the beach - walking. Take a room with seaview. The rooms on the top flow even have a sauna. The rooms are furnished with modern and bright furniture giving you a relaxed and happy feeling. The restaurant offers a very good breakfast buffet and good and modern food during lunch or dinner. You have direct access to the Therme. There is a room in which you can play table tennis or games with your family. All staff is very friendly. You just feel extremely comfortable and relaxed during your stay.

Amazing grounds and amenities
Reviewed By GmorehouseDWe had a wonderful trip for a wedding. Rooms are very clean and tidy. The grounds were amazing with a great pool/spa/sauna area on the ground floor. The staff was very helpful and spoke adequate English for us foreigners upon arrival, but making a reservation without speaking German was a challenge. The locale to the beach is the best the area has to offer, just steps away from the pier. The breakfast was lovely and the bar staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit dated, but construction appears underway for a new wing of rooms. We would definitely visit here again if in the area!

Reviewed By Johann RThis hotel offers nice and very clean rooms close to the beach. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly. As the hotel is based as close to the beach as it gets, it's a great acommodation for people who wanna enjoy beach life. Also a few nice places like Cafe Köm are just around the corner. Of course you cannot expect Luxury but its great value for money. the food is also very good and you can use the big fridge and other utilities in the separate, Public kitchen! Definitely a recommendation for everybody who wants a clean, modern, friendly place to stay and enjoy some time by the beach! Not a recommendation for people, loking for traditional luxury getaways.
