Die Friesenstube liegt ein wenig abseits von der Touristenmeile in St. Peter-Ording.
Das Restaurant ist Einrichtungsmäßig ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt den rustikalen Innenbereich, sowie eine nett eingerichtete Terrase.
Der Service war trotz guten Besuch des Restaurant aufmerksam und freundlich.
Die Speisekarte war übersichtlich und nicht überfrachtet. Das Essen (meine Frau hatte Lachs mit Reibekuchen, ich eine Garnelensuppe und den Fischteller) war von guter Qualität und in der Zubereitung ansprechend. Keine Genussküche, eher deftige gute Kost, kein Schickimicky wie in vielen anderen Restaurant`s in St. Peter-Ording. Getränke und Essen wurden schnell, das Essen schon zu schnell serviert, alles in ruhiger und angenehmer Atmosphäre.
Das ganze spiegelte sich dann auch im Preis wieder, der als sehr preisgünstig für SPO angesehen werden darf.
Ein Besuch kann für jemand der auf gutes, schnelles, trotzdem ansprechendes und dazu preisgünstiges Essen Wert legt empfohlen werden.
Eine Reservierung wird unbedingt angeregt.

Visited today as a group of 7 - Reservations are required. Specialises in fish and other local dishes. 5 of us had various fish dishes that were excellent and 2 had Wiener Schnitzels that were average. A bit more expensive than most restaurants here but worth paying for.

Stopped here for coffee and hot chocolate to warm up after a windswept walk on the beach. Service really good. We sat outside on the Terrace, I went inside to use the toilet and the interior was very attractively decorated. Would like to return and sample the food, all of which looked really good.

Food here was ok, relatively large selection of fish and meat dishes and a nice view of the dunes of you are lucky. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. The decor is a (deliberate?) mix of anything you might find on the attic, in the cellar or in the ditch behind the house. The result is irritating at best.

A Young Team is Running the restaurant. This adds to the Romantic fresh Look. The Food is very well prepared and tastes very good. Especially i would like to recommend the soups. Inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated, with a subtle rusticality. Very suitable for couples.

The restaurant was packed inside, so we had to sit outside, but the sun came out and we were really warm and sheltered with the large glass panels of the Terrace. Lovely to sit and listen to the sound of the sea and watch the tide coming in. We had matjes herrings with fried potato, potato soup with North Sea shrimps, a burger and curry wurst. Everyone happy with their food. A great location.

We had a lovely dinner at this quaint little steakhouse. The steaks were top-notch and perfectly cooked. The hamburger was also excellent. In fact, everything we had was absolutely delicious and the service was very welcoming, attentive and friendly (which is not always the case in Germany, so "Hut ab" to Mein Steakhouse!).
The weather was warm so we had our dinner in the garden with lovely views of thatched-roofed houses. The restaurant's interior is also beautifully decorated and very cosy.
We recommend a visit to Mein Steakhouse and will definitely be back.

This is a very good B&B directly on the sand dunes. Very central for long walks, in the dunes and along the dyke. Very quiet and peaceful area. Excellent breakfast and fantastic lunches or dinner available in restaurant as well.
Rooms with a balcony are wonderful looking over the whole area and onto beach and beyond..North Sea.
Not far from all activity available in Bad,Sant Peter Ording.
Wonderful for afternoon tea/coffee and cake ... they make their own and have an excellent choice of tarts and cake. One can enjoy sitting outside on the Terrace or inside where everything is decorated in a modern maritim style providing a wonderful atmosphere.
