Reviewed By chantal_lessStayed in a suite in early March. When we booked, restaurants were closed to indoor dining because of Covid. The suite was listed as having a kitchenette so we came with the intention of eating meals in the suit even though restaurants had reopened.. The kitchenette consisted of a toaster oven, microwave, Keurig and small fridge. Our room was for four people however there were only two sets of glasses, cups, plates, bowls and basic utensils. Counter space was very limited. It was raining during our stay so we ended up having to spend a fair bit of time in our room. Bed was comfortable but sofa was not. TV was set 6’ high on the wall which made watching TV while sitting on the couch rather uncomfortable. Outdoor hot tub was nice as was the fireplace in the room. Covid protocols posted but not enforced. The best part of this hotel is it’s ideal location.

Reviewed By rebeldealerBeware of this AirBNB hotel. We reserved this hotel for New Year’s Eve and when Quebec shutdown for the pandemic. They refused to return even though cancelled before their stated cancellation dates. Only 20% refunded. Not acceptable. Beware of this hotel.

Good for an inexpensive stay in Saint Sauveur
Reviewed By GadgetNeilWith Saint Sauveur being a popular town for tourists, especially in ski season, this motel was very reasonably priced. I was satisfied with my stay, although you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable, and my only complaints would be small ones. The TV in the room was very small, by today's standards (although I was there for a ski trip and TV watching wasn't a priority). The walls are pretty thin; when people were talking in the room next door I could hear a lot of it (but they have a rule about quiet after 10 pm, and I sleep with earplugs). There wasn't a lot of space to put away clothes: just a night table with 2 small drawers, and one of them had half of a potato chip in it, so I didn't put my clothes there (the chip made me feel they had not cleaned the drawers after the last occupant). However, there is a rack with hangars, which was helpful. My only other complaint is that I felt they should have salted the parking lot more often. At times, there was so much ice, that walking to your car was like walking on a skating rink. Despite my complaints, I would still recommend this motel to budget travellers. The cost is very reasonable, and there is free parking, and the location is great, walking distance from the town centre with restaurants and shops.

Lovely long weekend
Reviewed By MarfylouMy husband and I spent 4 wonderful days at Le Petit Clocher. Richard is a most charming host and we enjoyed learning about the property. The decor is extraordinary. Our bedroom, one of 7, was lovely, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were a highlight! Four courses of delicious, beautifully presented food kept us satiated until dinner. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests over coffee and a final cheese course. The property is well situated, not far from the pretty town of St Sauveur and the ski hill.

We stayed in unit 202 and were very impressed with the cleanliness, decor, layout and especially the great service while booking our stay. Domaine Nymark has a great view of ski hills, huge balcony, ample free parking. We will definitely be returning to this place with our next visit to St-Sauveur. Merci

Reviewed By Francis MWe loved our stay at the tree house, Le Sol. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The nature here is just beautiful, if you’re up early enough (6am early!) you might be as lucky as we were & see a deer & fawn! There are trails here for hiking too. Tracy & Keith strike the perfect balance of being accessible and leaving room for independent exploration and a sense of being home. We even got lost in the woods (totally our fault, such city people!) & Tracy went above & beyond to find us and bring us back, and didn’t even make us feel bad for a moment, on the contrary, she kept a good sense of humour and lots of kindness about her. Thanks Tracy! You spoiled us! The main cabin was a short walking distance as were the toilettes and shower. We personally enjoyed running into others who were staying at other parts of Chimo. Everyone was respectful of one another’s privacy & space & still friendly enough to feel like a community for that short little while. We miss Chimo so much & hope to make it back again soon. If you’re looking for a memorable, magical getaway, that’s fuss-free & fun, this is it! We miss our evening campfires and the chipmunks!
