We went for dinner last night and after Reading some reviews, we chose this restaurant. Bringing your own wine is really a selling feature. The place is really quaint with white table clothes and excellent service. Our food was very good. We had the mussels with blue cheese, and the peppercorn steak as well as Escargots.... It was all very nice. I would recommend you making Reservations as the place was packed, and we happened to get lucky....

Creperie A La Gourmandise Bretone

We visited during the Noon hour and we opted to each try/share a different dish. The crepe with asparagus/bacon was just okay and short on asparagus. The second crepe, with béchamel sauce, had spinach and mushrooms and which turned out to be a better choice. Crepes should not flake and both of ours were slightly overdone in some areas. Thinking we could add a little moisture to the dry parts with the bottle on the table which looked like maple syrup we tried that. It was not maple syrup but a commercially made and inexpensive table syrup.
The restaurant is quite appealing with a good ambience. Our server was pleasant and helpful. Overall, a good place, not a great one.

Immediately upon entering you see that this establishment has tired and because you were hoping that it actually maintained the standards that the old Montreal location used to have, you feel let down.
The menu is the same and yes, the food is adequate at best. Long gone is the Gibbys of yesteryear.
Compared to the other location, the staff here is friendly and accommodating. These people actually care. Whoever is in charge, seems to care, which makes things more enjoyable.
Prices are moderate to high and the food as I said, adequate.

Group of 16, birthday for adult daughter. Reservation for 5 p.m. Saturday night. Arrived at resto at 16:45, door not opened until three minutes to 5 even though it was cold and wintry and staff could easily see us...with our balloons. Bad start. Enentually at table with group, staff seems to do things by rote, not much of a personal touch, are hurried and the worse insult was when at 19:25 we were told that in ten minutes we would have to leave the table! Even though we were told when reserving that they had another group at 20:00, which is fine, but a ten-minute warning!?! Rather insulting as it costs 200$ for supper for lmy wife and I. The food is not exeptional. The veal overcooked, brussel sprouts hard, pasta stuck together. Those who had shrimp did not like them and the salmon tartar bland. Those who had the bavette enjoyed it and also the filet mingnon. Never had time for coffee as we had to politely leave. This restaurant would not make it in a more competetive market close to Montreal, St.Sauveur is a seasonal ski town. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, modern. Clientel is nouveau-riche mostly. and somewhat transient. If you want a better restaurant, go to the 'Ardoise' in Ste.Thérèse, Would we go back to this place, no thank you.

My husband and I ate "brunch" there recently. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and served by charming waitresses who are fully bilingual. My crepe of pear and goat cheese, drizzled with honey was so pretty I felt like being a millennial when I wanted to take a photo (but didn't).
In addition to all of the above, the couple who own the restaurant are committed to healthy eating so both of our entrees came with side dishes of fresh fruit. And cappuccinos topped off this artful meal. I wish we lived in St. Sauveur (a great skiing town), but will have to settle for an occasional visit.
Next time we go I'd like to return for dinner. Bravo.

Made an early reservation for a friend's birthday, and the choice could not have been better. Warren's welcome, setting of ambiance, warmth and presentation could not have been better.
Being winter, we opted to sit inside, and were given a place by the fire... Thie is a bring your own wine resto, and went to the depanneur just beside the restaurant for a nice white.. but, the most important... The food.
Opening with a spicy vegetable soup perfectly flavoured, beautifully present ed in oversized bowls, flavour presaged what was to come. The bread supplied was warm and fresh, as should be.
I had the Seafood Linguini, and the large scallop and shrimps, were beautifully seared and quickly gobbled, but the joy was the linguini, perfectly cooked, with a beautiful sauce, and it was filled with a very generous serving of seafoods that blended in deliciously
My friend had Giant scallops and shrim, with wild rice that was "to die for", the rice beautifully done and gently spiced, the seafood seared to the point that you were torn between talking smaller bites so that it, although plentiful, would last longer, and just gobbling each piece whole to get all the flavour..
The desert was a plate of tiramisu, brownie (a must have) and creme brûlée all of which were a fitting end to a satisfying and inspiring meal..
Thank you Warren, I will be back soon, and often
