Great Choice

Reviewed By abroadwithashley

Previously, on our trip to Petra, we stayed at the Movenpick. That experience was fair, but we chose it because it is across the street from the entrance to Petra. This boutique hotel is not, but at a 4 minute walk up the street… it’s close enough. The staff was excellent and was able to address all of our needs. Free parking is listed. That is correct… in that parking on the street in Jordan is free. The options for eating at the hotel (and the town in general) for vegan/vegetarians is slim. We would recommend asking about all the ingredients in the meals the hotel serves as the menu tends to list the “highlight” ingredients rather than everything that is tossed in. Otherwise, we would recommend this as a good option for your trip to Petra.

Simple Hotel that Over Delivers

This is not a super luxury hotel and doesn't pretend to be. The room we had was on the small size as well as the bathroom but very clean. It is located 5-6 minute drive from Petra a block off a main drive but had easy parking in front and walkable to at least one very good restaurant. Breakfast was OK but with an breathtaking view of the sounding hills and town. If you order a lunch to go, it will cost you JOD 5 and be good for 2-3 people! If you factor in the price of the hotel this is one of the great values in all of Jordan.

VERY GOOD STAY IN PETRA

Reviewed By _dilettadiverio_1999

We have been staying here for 2 nights! The hotel it’s right in front of the gate to visit Petra, so the location is perfect because you just go by walk. We had 2 rooms and both were perfectly clean; it’s very difficult to find such a clean place in this country! We had breakfast and dinner at the buffet: very nicely displayed and all the food tasted amazing, with a lot of different option (of course more typical dishes but very very good). All the staff was nice and polite, always ready to assist with any question or request. Being in Jordan this is a 5 star hotel! Really recommended and I will recommend it for sure!

Lovely new hotel

Reviewed By 239kushals

This hotel is located about a 2 minute drive from the Petra Visitor Centre, it isnt close but it is a straight forward downhill walk to the visitor centre. The location is otherwise good with excellent views over Petra from the hotel window and a lovely balcony to watch sunset from. The rooms are comfortable and clean with all the amenities/facilities you need. Breakfast was good. Most importantly, the staff were lovely and so kind, they did all they could to make your trip and stay brilliant. Little touches like a drink on check-in and fruit basket were really really amazing and made us feel so welcome. Thank you very much.

We stayed at P Quattro one night. After a long day (crossing the border from Israel, visiting Wadi Rum, and driving north), P Quattro was a perfect place to rest, refuel and recharge before a full day at Petra. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel - both meals featured large buffets with too many choices. The room was comfortable and spacious, staff was friendly. and the location was great for getting to Petra the next morning.

Petra Marriott Hotel

Petra is an ancient city that once was considered to be a myth, hidden for centuries from prying eyes. The Petra Marriott Hotel is conveniently located on a steep sloping site overlooking the dramatic and picturesque Petra Valley. Concealed within the quite magnificent mountains in the red rose desert, Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra, the world wonder, is a magnificent city and there is nothing in the world resembles it. Although much has been written about Petra, nothing really prepares you for this amazing place. It has to be seen to be believed.

Nice Hotel outside of Petra.

Well appointed hotel about 10 min drive from Petra. Due to it being on a hill, it gets incredibly windy so be prepared. Buffet breakfast was okay with great selections but the much regarded restaurant overlooking the city was closed during our visit. All in all it was a good stay & I’d recommend others to this hotel.

Starry nights and Bedouin tea

Reviewed By amystar137

Incredible. Literally everything was perfect and you should absolutely stay here. If you need more details, here you go. I stayed with my husband for two nights. We arranged transportation through the camp for us to be picked up in Amman. All of the communication with Jane before arrival via WhatsApp was perfect. Our driver arrived ten minutes early, was waiting on us, and communicated ahead of time as well. The dome tent, #106, had a gorgeous view overlooking the lighted rocks at night. We were given tea on arrival, and showed around camp. The energy there was very relaxed and you felt like part of the family, but nothing was left undone. On our drive to the camp, we asked for several things. Every single one of them was remembered without us ever bringing it up again. I honestly don't know how they do it. The singing by the fire was amazing (with more tea) and we chose to do Petra by Night. They drove us there for only 5JD and were there waiting on us when it was finished. I haven't one complaint and not one thing I wish was better. This was a surreal experience and we would go again a hundred times if we could!
