A little gem
Reviewed By ChristopherE1754I travel frequently from Hamburg airport so I always stay in the locality the night before my flight. The hotel I normally use was fully booked so I decided to try the Ohlenhoff Hotel. The location is great being only 6 mins drive to the airport, the hotel room was super clean and a good size, great internet connection, on site restaurant plus local bar and restaurant within walking distance. All in all the Ohlenhoff is a super hotel.

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By Wander21870305081Very lovely hotel. We had one of the theme rooms which was nicely decorated and kept very clean. Although it had a coffee maker, capsules and milk was more often than not, not replaced. Quite annoying. Otherwise, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was also served in a lovely room. Dining room and bar were closed by 10:00/10:30 p.m., but for a smaller hotel, it’s understandable.

An overnight hotel, north of Hamburg
Reviewed By SomeishereThis hotel is a good overnight hotel for one or two nights in the northern part of Hamburg. It is small with small rooms, but everything is clean. The breakfast was a little bit poor but for the paid price OK. About 300 meters from the hotel you find restaurants where you can have dinner as the hotel itself doesn’t offer that.

Short business trip
Reviewed By 580lahBeing on a business trip for couple of nights. Quick check in and out. The room I got was spacious and relatively clean, but would need some renivation. The location in Nordestadt is OK. There are quite a few restaurants and shops locally. Parking at the hotel is free and in a private parking area. The breakfast was ok. I had a room with the parking lot view and it was quite noisy in the morning. Internet speed was all right.

Decent but poor location
Reviewed By hansl610Stayed there for a single night, the room was okay when taking the price into consideration. A bit old but clean. The location was bad though, with a train stop just outside so expect some noise. The restaurant in the hotel is closed and the nearest restaurant is 1km away. Fortunately breakfast is available. But for quick access to Hamburg without being in the big city, then i guess it's an ideal hotel that won't break your wallet.

Reviewed By n1ck_l0vellStayed at this hotel for a week for business. Room was very outdated. Is in need of a refurb. We had to swap rooms late into the first night as there was a constant noise of running water audible in the room. No apology, moved to a noise room right next to the main entrance. The smell of smokers was sickening. Upon checkout the woman at reception tried to charge us for water, nuts and sauna use....all Of which I never used. The trip was booked and paid for by my employer. I have now seen an additional payment on my bank statement. The hotel have taken full payment for the room again. This payment was not authorised and is fraudulent. I have called the hotel to resolve and no one there understands a word of English.

Reviewed By Andrei BPet friendly, polite and helpful staff. Clean and nice building, garden and rooms. The front desk gentleman was really helpful with information about the area and everything. We had cool temperature in the downstairs rooms and our dogs love it!

I am very happy here
Reviewed By Marie-Louise RI always ask for one of the single rooms with view of the little pond in the back. It is quiet and lovely to watch the birds in the garden. There is a TV with plenty of channels and Wifi is ok, but better in the greenhouse hall. Breakfast offers plenty of choice and you can sit in the greenhouse entry to have it. There are banana trees and a coffee plant. Staff is very friendly. I sty here whenever I visit my family.
