Very bad experience
Reviewed By juliusb859Even though the hotel has a nice garden, the rooms were very dirty. There were many spiders and a centipede. The bathroom fan was broken and therefore the room had an odd smell. The worst were noisy guests that were drinking in the garden until 5 in the morning and the staff did not seem to care. All that came at a price of 220 lari for 3 people.

Reviewed By swedishadventurerKvareli Lake resort is a hidden pearl in the Khaketi Region and has some amazing views of the Kvareli Lake. The resort itself is super clean and both the interior of the rooms are really nice. The beds are very comfy and the views from the rooms are great over the Khaketi Valley. The breakfast is huge and the Corona-security is very strict which I like. The reeception girls Lulu and Tamara were so cute and helpful- the check in and check out very smoothly. The breakfast girl Katrine was also very sweet. You can be sure to enjoy your time at this fantastic place with the green natures and lakes as your closest neighbour. Now to the worst and best part. I had an accident and my phone fell into the lake. I was nearly drowning while trying to get my phone phone at the bottom of the lake. There are angels on this Mother Earth and they are called Dimitri and Lela together with many more who all tried to help me as best as they could to get my phone back. They actually got some firemen divers from Tbilisi to help me dive after my phone. For a travelblogger as me, it is a disaster to loose the phone BUT I will never and ever forget how all these fantastic people at Kvareli Lake helped me in every possible way. Unfortunately the phone was never found but Dimitri helped and the security guy Jimi helped me to get a new one in the middle of the night, just to satisfy me. I will NEVER forget this! And I will for sure be back! Until next time!

Reviewed By Lynda NThe owners Gina and Bezo welcomed us warmly. The hotel is small, but rooms are very comfortable and there is a beautiful garden to sit in the sun and sample some of the owners' home made wine (very good). Breakfast of local products is included and is excellent. The owners arranged some local sightseeing for us and even a trip to the dentist. Highly recommended if you want to experience Georgian hospitality at its best!

A super place to stay!
Reviewed By CharlieLeamingtonSpaMy friends and I love fine wine. We knew we wanted to visit the wine region whilst in Georgia. We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is well situated within the wine region. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We had an excellent wine tasting experience here and ended up buying a few bottles of fabulous wine! The rooms are basic and slightly small but comfortable. The food was Georgian in style and the dining room is outside. There were five kittens always playing and making us laugh. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By 295mariammI've stayed at the hotel for a night. It is a quite nice place. The hotel definitely has it's own spirit, The service was very good, especially FO representative, Alina. She is such a star and her professionalism is another level. The only remark i would have is restaurant menu. It would be nicer if it had more variety and more option of Georgian Traditional food, as the hotel's above mentioned spirit is all about traditions of the country.

Reviewed By Ulfast2000Оставались на ночь компанией друзей. В номерах запахи - то ли сырость, то ли просто старая мебель. Душ так себе. Завтрак скуден - выдали жареные омлет и блинчики с мясом и чай. В общем чистотой не блещет и скудный завтрак. Самое лучшее тут - это цветущий сад.

A delightful place to stay
Reviewed By juliegX56FTMy friend and I stayed here for night while visiting the wine country. It is located a few minutes outside the town. The rooms were immaculate and very tastefully decorated. with crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I love the fact it is a family business, the owners father had created amazing pieces of woodwork which are placed strategically on the site, his mother had created a flower and herb garden. The setting is tranquil and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax.

Reviewed By kkn0teWir durften 2 Tage zu Gast bei Giorgi und seiner Familie sein und wurden vom ersten Moment an wie Freunde aufgenommen. Zimmer und Essen sind gut, unschlagbar und unvergesslich sind aber die Menschen, denen man hier begegnet. Die ganze Familie ist unglaublich herzlich und auch noch sehr musikalisch. Wir haben mindestens 4 Klaviere und 1 Gitarre im Haus gezählt, die auch gerne, viel -und gut- benutzt wurden. Wir hatten auch noch das Glück im Haus an einem grossen georgischen Barbecue teilnehmen zu dürfen. Mit bestimmt 30 Gästen, Karaoke und Tanz im hauseigenen Garten. Aber selbst ein "normaler" Abend ist ein Erlebnis. Der Weinkeller zb. ist sehenswert und man darf probieren. Giorgi ist ein angenehmer und intelligenter Gesprächspartner, der zu unserer Überraschung sogar sehr gut deutsch spricht. Auch mit seiner Frau und seinen Eltern haben wir sehr gerne auf Englisch oder mit Händen und Füssen kommuniziert. Das einzige, das uns wirklich ärgert ist, dass wir nicht etwas von dem wunderbaren Wein gekauft haben, den Giorgi produziert... Ein sehr guter Grund wiederzukommen. Sehr zu empfehlen und wichtiger Bestandteil unserer Reise-Erinnerungen...
