Great location and service
Reviewed By JaimeT22Located just a few steps outside the north exit of Izumoshi station. We deposited our luggages there since we were early and they were already placed in our room when we came back later to check in. Free coffee was provided 24 hrs in the lobby. On the 11th floor was the outdoor and indoor Onsen. Free beer and snacks was provided one glass per guest on the 11th floor in the evening. There was also free ramen provided from 9.30pm onwards. Washer was free to use but dryer cost 100 yen for 20mins. If you chose not to have housekeeping for a day, u get their special brand of instant cup noodles. Overall, v happy with my stay. Hotel was also v new and modern. Enjoyed my 2 nights stay here. Highly recommended!

Convenient location
Reviewed By anesa09Twin Leaves Hotel Izumo is conveniently located next to JR Izumo Station. We took the airport bus to the station and the hotels is very close to the bus stop. The room is (relatively) spacious and clean. Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast buffet was changed to individual tray of assorted items but it was too much food for me. But there is little flexibility so I had to leave half of the food. Coffee machine was broken one morning. The view from the room was a parking lot. They sell this local water for 100 yen at the front desk. Everything closes quite early at Izumo so there’s not much to do around the station in the evening. But all in all it was an enjoyable stay and I’d stay there again given the opportunity.

Reviewed By Chris MThe stay here was part of a 2 day trip away from my main base in Kyoto. The hotel was clean and airy. I’m not sure if smoking was allowed in the hotel, but there was a subtle tobacco odour in the public areas. The room was clean, and basic toiletries were available in the compact bath/shower room. The evening meal was interesting and I tried what I think was a traditional set meal, which gave lots of little tasters of the local Japanese cuisine. Breakfast was also traditional local cuisine. There was the the opportunity to have a European type of breakfast, if that is what you would prefer to eat, in amongst the Japanese dishes that were on offer.

Always a Nice Stay
Reviewed By BZimm08I enjoy the Toyoko Inn hotels around Japan. This one was in a nice location near the train station, shops, and restaurants. Check in/out was a breeze, and I parked my car here over night, it was a 500 yen fee. The rooms were as expected, on the smaller side by comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice, again on the smaller side but expected. I love their breakfasts here, unfortunately since Covid, breakfast is not buffet style. The breakfast was prepared boxes with rice, egg, meat, and a few other things, still good, but not as exciting, not their fault though. Overall, I would stay here again.

Reviewed By yumikon07I stayed there only one night. I wanted to go to Izumo taisha next day in the early morning. I was planning to take a taxi from the station which was only a few mints walk. However, a staff at the front desk booked a taxi for me, and next morning a taxi was waiting for me at the front entrance. I did not expect much from the hotel with the price but the room was clean and provided different types pillows and etc, the hotel worth more than what I paid for. I really recommend this hotel if you go to Izumo.

Reviewed By spr_smmlxStayed a night during our trip to Izumo, not knowing what to expect but booked it because it had good reviews. Stunned by the spacious lobby and very well appointed interior decor - beautiful tatami hallways and lots of wooden beams and sand plaster walls creates a traditional Japanese feel - yet with all the modern amenity like central heating, wifi, and a great coffee free of charge at the lounge area. Some rooms has roten-buro (bath) in balcony, made from Hinoki. The hotel also has many public baths and saunas, it is a true luxury to stretch at one of them and then enjoy a free candy bar and ramen after the bath. The food was excellent too. Due to the fact it is a big hotel (Usagi and Keiun - two hotels connected, Keiun being quieter and high grade), you need to pre-book the breakfast and dinner time upon reservation, and the food service feels like served by airline cabin crew (efficient and fast) - but the quality of each dish is well above average. Will definitely stay again.

Reviewed By CasmineWe stayed only one night here to visit the famous Izumo Taisha. Beautiful little place and this hotel is literally steps away from the station. The rooms are small, so navigation can be tricky if you have big suitcases, but everything else is impeccably clean and thoughtful. They even have a drawer full of little beauty items (masks, makeup remover etc) for female guests! Beds are big and so comfortable. Best part of the hotel: the people. Their service goes above and beyond what you would expect even from renowned Japanese hospitality. Upon dropping off our luggage I quickly realized that my careless boyfriend had left his bag full of money and valuables on the train we took to Izumo. Thankfully, Mr Kai Shinji was around and brought us to the train station and helped us communicate the situation to the very kind and helpful station master. Mr Kai Shinji was ever patient and smiley, and later that same day we had our bag back with us with everything intact. A very very big thank you to Mr Kai Shinji and all the loveliness of Super Hotel! This hotel chain is always among my top picks whenever I visit Japan :)

Basic, lots of parking

The decor is basic but I liked that the beds were not attached to the floor as I have seen in other inexpensive business hotels because we were able to push the bed against the wall so that our toddler couldn't roll off. There is sento/onsen nearby.
