Excellent hotel
Reviewed By JasShanghaiI stayed a number of times on business it is convenient as the limousine bus stops at the station and quick walk through station to hotel. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and well made. I like the Eco Clean this is good idea and make use this regularly. Breakfast is good I always enjoy Nattou as foreigner I do like it the selection of food is fine. Another good feature is the Handy smart phone you can use free of charge free local and limited country international calls the Handy also has internet I used daily and brilliant when going sightseeing and map use of the maps. My stays at Terrace Inn Katsuta has always been pleasant. ありがとうございますした。

Enjoyed a pleasant stay
Reviewed By angus384I was in Hitachinaka for business and decided to stay the night at this hotel. After arriving I was pleasantly surprised to find the staff had kindly upgraded my room to a very nice semi-suite room! The room looked new and it was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel lobby area was nice and relaxing as well. I was also happy with the breakfast buffet which had a fair amount of western and Japanese dishes to choose from. In the evening before, guests were offered a complimentary snack of a small bowl of ramen noodles which was also a nice gesture. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area of town away from the main road and trains, so it's a nice place if you want to wind down and relax after a busy day. It's also located only 10-15min drive away from Hitachi Kaihin Koen (Hitachi Seaside Park) which I wanted to visit but sadly didn't have time to do so...

Reviewed By espg_007Is right next to Katsuta station. I was on the 6th floor so didn't have any problems with noise. The room is small but very enjoyable, all the confort you need at hand's reach. It was very clean overall, with room cleaning every day. Staff were very friendly and spoke just enough English. Would definitely stay again.

Interesting invoice for an expensive hotel
Reviewed By JohnDoe33333Rooms were very expensive, with similar hotels in Tokyo and Yokohama costing a lot less. The rooms were very clean. Service was not very good and an ironing board was not available. The invoice for the stay was poor, as my company's name was spelt so incorrectly that even my translator was embarassed. Not much choice at breakfast, but the locals liked it.

Reviewed By Maiden0422Stayed for 5 nights for Business trip. Located near Maruto shopping mall and katsuta station. Check in was breeze and free internet was very good. Rooms is very small and basic amenities. You need to self collect the shampoo, robes, soap and other amenities from the lobby which is well stoked. Bed is very comfortable but only with one small pillow. The breakfast served is Japanese style.

A good pick on the way to racing circuits
Reviewed By MarekTumilakWe chose this hotel for three reasons: it's located not far from Twin Ring Motegi, it's not far from Narita, and on the way back you can stil visit Tsukuba circuit. If you look close enough you'll find more hotels in the area. This particular one is European-type hotel with normal beds, with extremely warm comforters and duvets. Mind you, it was December and remember that there is no central heating in Japan. You can use air conditioning for heating. Unless you have problems with Japanese like we had. Tried to set the device up, but it wouldn't work as we wanted. Well, a good bath helped (later on we read that there is an onsen at the hotel - even better idea to warm up). Anyway, the room was prepared as I requested: max. on second floor, near an emergency exit (fear of earthquakes). By the way, as the tall hotel building is on rollers, you can feel the earth shaking (just get used to it and and get Yurekuru app to your phone). The quality of sleep was extremely good, also due to very quiet neighborhood. Breakfast: Japanese, but very tasty (actually, I don't know if there was European-kind of breakfast). As everywhere in Japan the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Although, their English could be better.
