Small but comfy hotel
Reviewed By nnskitjpnA kind of standard Japanese so-called "business hotel". Location is good when you reach the hotel by car. Navigation system of the car could easily took us there. Room is a kind of small but good enough. They provided us not all-in-one type shampoo but shampoo and treatment separately, that was a good point as a Japanese, who don't prefer all-in-one type shampoos. We were just lucky or not, but at least at the day we stayed, we could hear no noise from outside the room.

Reviewed By Sheila Fits not our first time here but we dont actually stay here for overnight.since i booked for 2 rooms some additionals like children costs 3yrs above will be 2000yen plus 500breakfast,we still paid for that.even they cant provide additional bed! 1 thing is for sure, costumers are most for just spa and sauna...some doesnt mind if there are bad staffs or INAPPROPRIATE in their jobs! they think customers just come and go and if they did wrong it understandable! But wait! it wasnt just once,during my stay.i remember one girl from the counter who even doesnt say sorry like a common japanese people say,but most importantly,she was a staff! other thing was a group of staff who inserted their stuff first before the customers who are waiting in elevator. some discussions was happened... i tried to explain but the man said to me "DAMATTERO"! wow! they were the staffs in that hotel or maybe they were working for a play in the 2nd floor in spa for a show.....But i dont think that's the PROPER WAY to have an explanation or to depend their sides! I DONT THINK THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE OR TO ACT MORE THAN THE customers access and comfortability to the hotel! not adding that someone with me has a problem with walking or koshi no byoki....totally sad....i cant wait to checkout soon! NOT GONNA COME BACK AGAIN!

コロナ対策も万全
Reviewed By MarianJ007数か月に一度泊まる我が家の定宿です。コロナで長いステイホーム中にも、「早く慶山に行きたいなぁ。」と思っていました。自粛緩和でやっと来れました。 さて、宿に入るといつもとは少し違う雰囲気が....。とにかく徹底したコロナ対策で驚きました。まずチェックイン前に、２人いっきに分かる検温機で検温されました。スタッフさん皆がフェイルシードとマスクのダブル着用、手にはビニール手袋をされてました。チェックインが済むとラウンジでお茶が出されますが、今回はラウンジは閉じており、仲居さんが部屋へ案内してくれましたが、その際もエレベータは一組とのことで、一緒に乗らずでした。 いつもは部屋で仲居さんがお茶など入れてくれますが、仲居さんは中には入らず、すまなそうに「お茶入れの代わりに冷蔵庫に冷たいお茶やジュースがあります。」と言われました。部屋や部屋のドアノブには、ビニールカバーがかけれえていました。また。お風呂は人数が40名以上にならないように、行く前に内線に電話するように、部屋の案内に書かれており、また館内でのマスク着用のお願いも書かれていました。お風呂の冷水器にも手でさわらないようにテッシュが置かれてました。どこまでお客さんがやるかはともかくとして、このお宿に来て、今回初めて少し緊張してしまいました。 しかし、全てがお客様のため（また働いている従業員さんのためであり）であり、ここまで一生懸命にコロナ対策を行ってくれていることに、とても感謝しました。 お客である我々も、宿館内でも食事時以外、自分たちの部屋以外ではマスクをするなど、しかるべき行動をするべきと思いました。 さて、いつもの大浴場に行き、大きな露天風呂につかると、緊張もとけ、やっとここに戻って来れたなぁと一人「I’ｍ back!」と映画のセリフをつぶやいてしまいました。お風呂上りには、お休み処で、キンキンに冷えた冷たい麦茶と桃のゼリー菓子をいただき、幸せを感じました。 ところで、お宿にはいろんなプランがありますが、個人的には、朝夕個室食のプランをお勧めします。特に今のような時期は安心を感じますし、会場食のプランより、いろいろメリットがあります（良い部屋、鍵二本、浴衣二枚、朝の新聞、個室食など）。 朝夕食は個室ですが、いつもより広い個室でした。二人ですが、向かい合わせではない、余裕のある席設定でした。夜は天婦羅、朝は卵料理を調理人さんが部屋の前で作ってくれ、出来立てを食べれます。いつもはほうとう鍋ですが、お鍋もいくつかある中から今回は選べました。 なお、今回は旅行サイトJで出している笛吹市クーポンを利用し、いつもより、お得に滞在してしまいました。 次回予約まですでにしてしまいましたので、また来ます。Our favorite Ryokan (Japanese inn, hotel) Very good Onsen - hot spring. Classic Setting with Modern Twist

The lobby and gardens feels like you have travelled back in time to classic Japanese shogun house (assuming this is what rich shogun lived like back in the days - lol). Rooms are very nice and service was good too. Slightly pricey but it was a good experience.

Reviewed By Gene PThe hotel is typical native traditional hotel and spa with rooms authentically designed of native bedrooms. except for the somewhat lack of soft mattress, our sleep was relaxing and you get to experience the way the japanese live in their typical house. food was great and the staff accommodating and polite. Good hotel to have a good relaxing couple of days.

An Amazing Japanese Experience
Reviewed By RetireeBobLocated in a semi-rural area. Our room choice was a traditional Tatami room with Futon Mats at floor level which were prepared for sleeping while we were at dinner. The sleep comfort was surprisingly good, although those with mobility issues would have difficulty getting down and up. The room was large sized by Japanese standards, and could be divided by the beautiful paper screened, sliding doors. The Bathroom has a traditional Japanese sitting shower area and a separate bath. All the kit needed to take a bath in the Onsen, Hot springs is also provided. A Good breakfast was included with a large variety of both Japanese and Western foods. Free bottled water was supplied in the room along with a 'Tea Ceremony' kit. The free WiFi worked at a reasonable speed. The room temperature was too hot for our liking with the a/c controlled remotely by hotel with no user adjustment. A personal safe was also in the room.

Isawa Onsen, a hot spring resort representing Yamanashi Prefecture, is about 90 minutes from central Tokyo with easy access. “Isawa View Hotel” is located in the center of "Sakura Onsen Street" where hot spring hotels are lined up, and 5 minutes by car from JR Isawa Onsen Station. The Japan modern appearance is eye-catching, and if the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji from the see-through lift. A little stream flows in the hall, and you can look at the pond with large colored carps from the lobby. There are Japanese style rooms with 15 tatami mats and a hori-gotatsu (feet warmer) and Japanese style rooms attached to a twin bed room. Both rooms have a calm atmosphere of Japanese style, so you spend your time relaxing.

Reviewed By Gyftzy K- Location: no attraction around there - Room: quite old with uncomfortable futon and in-room mat when comparing with other ryokans - Food: standard Japanese set for both dinner and breakfast. One dish I really like is just sweet and sour jelly. - Only 2 elevators but still ok.

In regard of the meal, we would like you to have the freshly cooked meal so we will provide by several dishes. By request from our guests, we will offer casual table seats or private rooms. Near the hotel, there is a large shopping mall, AEON Isawa, or 24/7 convenience stores, and a wine factory where you can enjoy factory tour for free and tasting samples.

Reviewed By MarianJ007Good onsen (hot spring) , stay long hours (14:00 check in and 11:00 check out), resonable rate are good points of this Ryokan (Japanese Inn , Japanese style hotel). So some business people also use this place as a business hotel with much better condition than business hotel with two meal, hot spring..... accoding to some comments. Dinner was just right so we can eat all. Breakfast was buffet style. The best thing of this place is hot spring come out a lot and lot. フロントは事務的な感じでしたが、部屋は7階で、山々の景色や列車の線路が見渡せる部屋でした。部屋でのWifiもOKで、化粧水、乳液などが部屋の洗面所にもありました。 大浴場は広く、温泉は無色透明のほんの少し硫黄の匂いがして、湯質は柔らかく、つるつる湯です。こんこんと出てくる温泉湯に入るたびに贅沢な気分がします（露天風呂は、庭などの風情はあまり無いけれど、快適です）。脱衣洗面エリアはキレイでアメニティーもそろっています。 夕食は会場食で、内容は典型的な温泉宿の食事です（天婦羅は出来立て、茶碗蒸しも熱々）。品数は多すぎないので、ご飯まで完食できる点が良いです。 朝食は広い会場でバイキングでした。品数は結構あります。ハンバーグがイマイチまずそうでした。焼き魚二種類やコーヒーは美味しかったです。 数回目の利用ですが、いつもリーズナブルに泊まれるので、文句も無しです。14時チェックイン、11時チェックアウトなので、石和温泉で二つの宿に泊まる時など便利です。滞在時間が長いのでゆっくり滞在できて、温泉が堪能できる点が良いです。
