Location can’t be beat!
Reviewed By LillfrogWe selected this hotel based solely on location because dragging baggage around town can be trouble. This hotel is connected to the train station but you would never know it, it’s so quiet! The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are outdated but clean. Typical hard Japanese bed. But the location just can’t be beat. Literally go down the elevator and the Shinkansen is right there, around the corner are the JR lines and through the terminal is the street car.

Reviewed By domw872This hotel provides great views and has an excellent location. Service is also excellent, food is excellent. My criticisms are there are no microwaves and parking is an absolute nightmare. We wanted to heat up baby food and sometimes bring in outside food but nothing to heat it up with. The hotel shares a parking lot with a very busy mall that is connected to the building. If you drive be prepared to wait anywhere from 5-30 mins to park your car and they have a very inconvenient system of constantly having to bother the staff to provide parking tickets for free parking. Other than that it’s a great hotel and worth the money.

Reviewed By LucAJ113The hotel was really great! The view is great if you get a room that faces the street and the water. The room is small, but not the smallest we’ve tried. It’s well located, and we were able to walk to the peace memorial. It does take a bit of time, but we really like walking so it’s no problem for us. There’s a convenience store across the street and it’s also close to transport. It was uncomplicated to get to the ferry to go to Miyajima from the hotel. All in all, the hotel was a pleasant surprise, and i recommend staying here if you’re in Hiroshima.

Very Small Rooms
Reviewed By GClifeIt’s my fault, I should have checked more clearly the size and layout of room, we booked a double, would have to be the smallest double bed in the world, with one side pressed against the wall, trapping you in. There are no wardrobes, no complimentary water, or humidifier which we had found in other Japanese hotels. Very claustrophobic, a bit like being in a tent. The bathroom they have turned into a mini onsen, which means the shower goes all over the floor, not great unless you want to have a bath. Hotel well located, easy walk to Peace Memorial, lots of shops and restaurants It’s located in entertainment district, so noisy at nights if you open window. Good breakfast, including fresh egg station. Easy to get to, catch tram 1,2 or 6 from station, get off at sixth stop and it’s a short walk.

Great location and service
Reviewed By JaimeT22Located just a few steps outside the north exit of Izumoshi station. We deposited our luggages there since we were early and they were already placed in our room when we came back later to check in. Free coffee was provided 24 hrs in the lobby. On the 11th floor was the outdoor and indoor Onsen. Free beer and snacks was provided one glass per guest on the 11th floor in the evening. There was also free ramen provided from 9.30pm onwards. Washer was free to use but dryer cost 100 yen for 20mins. If you chose not to have housekeeping for a day, u get their special brand of instant cup noodles. Overall, v happy with my stay. Hotel was also v new and modern. Enjoyed my 2 nights stay here. Highly recommended!

Very good modern hotel
Reviewed By ASkyeVery good modern hotel in an excellent location. Easy short walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Easy short bus from the JR station to the hotel. Surrounding streets have good food options, shops etc. Our room was comfy and cosy. Small but very clean and modern private toilet/shower room. Downstairs communal area was nice and spacious. Friendly staff and nice touches like origami instructions on the downstairs tables :). Also convenient luggage storage facility. Thanks for a great stay!

GOOD VALUE, MEDIOCRE STAFF
Reviewed By Masako TThe hotel had many Asian tourists from other countries. The check-in was okay, but they forgot to give us a few things for the hot springs for the kids. So I had to call them about that. Some staff was nice than the others, but overall, it was mediocre. Some young front staff need better training for friendlier service. Smiles go a long way, even if you do not speak English. The bath was good, but they only open until 9am. They have free ramen noodle service at night after 9:30pm, and it is first come first serve basis. The noodles were okay since it was free, but the portion was small. It is okay to stay here for a couple of nights, the location is pretty good, and the view is also good. I only wish the staff was better here.

Basic but central
Reviewed By TracyH1The hotel is very central to the train station - you can walk from the station underground, or check in around the corner from the BIC main entrance. I was using this hotel as a base for Naoshima and Matsue, so wasn't expecting anything luxurious. I was early, but the hotel held my bags for me. The staff were friendly. The room was fairly basic (I was on level 8) , but it is a business hotel so I wasn't expecting a lot. On check in you elected tea/coffee and were given a sachet for etc day of your stay (no milk though). The bathroom was clean, although there is a step into the bathroom, so if you have mobility issues, this would be a factor. The hotel was very quiet. There was a central area with microwave, washing machine, vending machines. The room was dated with no usb or international charging facilities. Being restricted to selecting tea or coffee at the beginning of your stay made it difficult. The room had stains on the walls from luggage.

Seafood, Onsen and caring staff
Reviewed By cranapple5The hotel is across from Sakaiminato JR station, about a 50min (cute) train ride from Yonago. The area has one of the largest ports known for snow crabs and all sorts of fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan. Visitors enjoy the crab markets in the area and seafood restaurants on a street with the theme of comic creatures by Muzuki Shigeru, a famous cartoonist from the area. This hotel itself was amazing. It was spotless, and every details from Ikebana flower arrangement to comfortable room with all sorts of amenities made us feel welcome. For foreign travelers they had a handout in English explaining their system. This enabled the foreign guests take full advantage of what the hotel offered. The top floor had natural Onsen hot spring baths with water so soothing to the skin. All necessary amenities were prepared by the hotel. The breakfast was known for create-yourself-Chirashi sushi and all the spread at the buffet with Japanese and western foods. Again the seafood here was so fresh. What made this hotel so special was the staff. Their hospitality was genuine, and showed they care. They made us feel like we came back to a home away from home. Definitely worth the experience.

Clean hotel with excellent breakfast
Reviewed By anesa09We had a twin room on the 7th floor but outside the window was just a wall. No view whatsoever which was fine given it was only for one night and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but it was kind of dark in the morning. The room felt very clean. There is an empty fridge and an air cleaner/humidifier. I was most impressed with the breakfast buffet. It’s about 1,400 yen pp but I had a breakfast inclusive package. They have a very extensive variety of food, many of them being locally sourced. Not impressed by the coffee which was average, but that is expected. It’s about 10 min walk from Hiroshima Bus Center and very close to shops and convenience stores.
