A small, boutique and charming place for retro accommodation, made with a lot of desire and love. It is located in the very heart of Sofia in one of the XX century neoclassical buildings in a central, but peaceful area, just few steps away from the main pedestrian shopping street - Vitosha and on a walking distance from all the important city landmarks - National Palace of Culture, National Theatre.

Olivera welcomed me warmly and set the tone for an excellent stay.What a Star! She handled my check-in very professionally (and was always available to answer questions and assist where possible.) I immediately felt like a valued guest. The studio room is even more impressive than on the photos. It is extremely clean and very well situated. The bed is comfortable and the on suite bathroom large with fantastic water pressure in the shower. What more can you want? The area is safe and central. Exploring the city is exceedingly easy with the nearby public transport stops. There is an array of amenities with everything you might need for even an extended stay. I was so sad to leave this fantastic property. I would be happy to recommend the 5 Vintage Guest House to anyone looking forward to an unforgettable stay Sofia.

Reservation problems
Reviewed By SlovvWe made a reservation and got it confirmed by the hostel. At the evening when we arrived, there was no room for us. It was late... Nobody informed us, even though I wrote to them few hours before just to let them know the exact time of arrival. The owner knew for the mess, but it looked like nobody really cared.

Reviewed By 489ChrisMThe Pop Bogomil family hotel is a no frills budget hotel, I met 3 lady receptionists and all were lovely. I was travelling alone and need a stick to walk, they were all very kind to me. A small double room very comfortable. Lovely bed and so clean. Would stay again.

Reviewed By ExplorerSaruThe rooms priced changed on check in, which was a bit dishonest i feel but it was still fairly cheap and as it was 3am, we didnt have a whole lot of option. The room was very basic. 3 beds. 1 side table. 1 TV (i don't know if it worked). & 1 slim cupboard. The bathroom was shared and rather cramped, but i don't think anyone was on our floor. Located near the bus/train station. Approx 20 minute walk into town. The place did have WIFI

Our 3-store house in the center has 9 rooms, 3 kitchenettes,7 bathrooms, 2 common spaces, BBQ area in the garden from May-September. We offer variety of rooms to suit every situation: Singles, Doubles, Triples, Quadruple, Private rooms and dormitories. We also have apartments for 2, 4, 6 and 8 people. Our rooms are sunny and spacious, all with wooden flooring,TV with 70+ international channels, new beds with orthopedic comfortable mattresses, TV in each room and designer bathrooms.Free Wi-Fi and Internet access.

For the rental charged the hostel is good although crowded.Breakfast is free and a good WiFi service.Hostel 44 " reflected the youth culture with mostly a young crowd and the reception was chic.The reception staff were helpful in providing guidance to newcomers .Worth the money and for short stays .

In our hostel you will get everything needed for comfortable stay: clean and spacious rooms, cosy beds, fresh bedclothes and a towel. All these you can get only for 10 Euro coins. That's why we called our hostel 10 COINS. Every floor of our house is equipped with a kitchen and a bathroom. Hot water is 24 hours a day. In the kitchen you can always get free tea, coffee and cookies. Everywhere in the hostel you can use free Wi-Fi. If you travel by car, motorcycle, bicycle or horse you can leave your vehicle in our garage. In summer season we will be glad to provide you with a bicycle - the main cycling route of Sofia is just near our house. If there is necessity we can meet you at the airport or railway station in Sofia and organize a transfer to any place of Bulgaria. We also organize unique and interesting excursions to the most wonderful places of Bulgaria you cannot get any information about in your guide-book. Suitable location of our hostel that is near the park provides you with really comfortable atmosphere. Metro station HAN KUBRAT (only 3 min walk) gives you possibility to get to the heart of Sofia very fast - 3 metro stops (10 min ride). Central bus and railway stations are only in 2 metro stops (7 min ride). We will be glad to see you!

Great hostel
Reviewed By oliviabM1732RZWe stayed here in beginning of October and we loved it. The staff were really lovely, the dorms were a good size and everything was clean. Our beds were really comfy (which made it difficult to want to get out of them after a heavy night on the bevs). The kitchen and communal area are small and cosy which is nice because it means you’ll meet and interact more with people. The managers a legend and did not judge us for rolling in at 6am from the night before and having shots for breakfast, she also took us out and showed us really cool bars. Would definitely recommend this place, great hostel hit them up if you’re staying in Sofia.

I found it good for students but also perfect for anyone who don't have huge expectations from a hostal. At least is clean, quiet and you have a karaoke pub just near. I didn't enjoyed the breakfast very much, but maybe things changed till then. Have to mention that I was there in April 2015

Guest have option for two extra beds in some of the rooms and baby cot by request. Focus on what really matters: - Hot shower and a good night’s rest. - Comfortable, spacious, clean room. - Limited but basic free in - room amenities (Wi-Fi access, cable TV, small refrigerator and central heating system). - Small complimentary breakfast for every guest during whole stay. - Tips, suggestions and assistance with everything you need during your stay.
Amazing surprise

We had read the reviews but as it’s an hostel we weren’t expecting something adequate to super cheap price we were paying, but it was a nice surprise. The building was actually super bad and smelly (the hostel is on the second floor) but the inside of the hostel is super nice and completely different from the rest of the building. We had booked a double room with private bathroom. The room was nice, warm and clean. Only bad thing is that we didn’t have a double bed but two single beds that couldn’t be joined perfectly so we slept with a hole between us, but no big deal. The position of the hostel is good, we walked everywhere without the need to use the public transportation (btw it is good in case you want/need it). Last but not the least, Peter, the host, was super nice with us. He waited for us (we arrived 9-9.30pm) and helped us to find a place to have dinner and talked us about the city in the way, we really appreciated that. In the end, I would 100% recommend this hostel
