Reviewed By Parakitch自宅の一部をゲスト用に貸しているホームステイ型の宿です。ウェリガマの中心部から少し離れた住宅街にあり、看板など何も出ていないので、自力でたどり着くのは困難。私は、予約サイトの地図を頼りに行きましたが分からず、ウロウロしているところを、近所の人に声をかけられ、ホストに電話をし、待ち合わせるという方法で、ようやくたどり着きました。周囲にはレストランなど何もなく、動き回るにはバイクが必要です。 最初に案内された部屋は、窓の小さな暗い部屋で、好みじゃなかったので、追加料金を支払って別の部屋に移りました。母屋の上に最近増築した新しい部屋だそう。お湯シャワーが出て、エアコン付き。ホスト自慢の部屋みたいです(笑) ガラス張りで眺めはいいのですが、日中はとーっても暑く、エアコンに頼ることになります。 Wifiは１階は接続できましたが、新しい部屋がある２階は途切れがち。 朝食にフルーツプレートをお願いしたら、バナナとマンゴーだけがお皿に山盛りで出てきました。普通はもっといろんな種類の果物を出してくれるもんだけど。ホスト曰く、「他の果物は無いんだよ」と。でも、ゲストの朝食って、家に残っているものを出すんじゃなくて、ゲスト用に用意をするもんじゃないの⁇ 家の管理はご両親が行い、実際にゲストとやり取りをするのは、英語を話す息子さん。ご両親は穏やかな方のようですが、この息子さん、話し方がちょっと乱暴。チェックアウトの日は、私が朝食を食べている最中に宿代の支払いを求めてきたりして、ちょっと苦手でした。朝食メニューの件と言い、ゲストへの対応という点では、私には合わなかったです。

Great Surfcamp, great people, great experience
Reviewed By kathas_trophiesI loved our stay at Kima Weligama. We stayed at Kima for about 3 weeks and we couldn't ask for a better time. Eat, sleep, surf. <3 The camp itself is cosy and chill, clean and wonderful. There were daily yoga sessions, a beachvolleyball court, balance boards, pool and more to explore. Location is quiet and close to the beach and also to some nice restaurants and bars. The food, drinks and the service in the camp (shoutout to Saranga, Ravishan, Kavidu, Thilina & Chinthaka - great bar staff!!) was amazing, friendly and always helpful. The rooms (with AC & mosquito nets) were super clean, spacious - loved the beds. Surf guiding was great! Got some helpful input from the guides. I really saw some good progress in my surfing. Thanks again for that! Also like the system with the stars. It's really easy and intuitive. The atmosphere was amazing and I had a great time. I will definitely come back!

Firstly just want to say we are seasoned travellers as most of people that visit this beautiful island and its beautiful people. We are now on our 5th hotel in sri lanka after travelling the country we decided to have a long rest here for 4 weeks. We arrived around 19.00 houts to be greeted with a warm welcome from Indica and fiona. Rooms are beautiful beaches are private and safe with totally natural turtle watching daily close up and able to snorkel and swim with them. Food wow amazing can not fault anything you need and want is no problem . We like garlic and chef prepared anything you wanted . I will review again later but this is a must stay vacation for any age . Amazing family run hotel with stunning pool views for any age group. ?

Amazing place to stay
Reviewed By foremostmariWe booked a room in this hotel for 3 nights and stayed for 2 months :) A room on the third floor is bright and clean, the sea view is priceless. AC, hot water, fan, mosquito nets, kettle, swimming pool, and a shared kitchen are all we were looking for. Add to this a perfect location - next to surf spot, 5 minutes walk to supermarket, 10 min walk to the bus station and ATMs. The staff is really nice and helpful! I wish them all best and hope to come to this hotel next year.

Nice hostel and amazing staff
Reviewed By salyk1999Me and my friend stayed here for one night. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. The room and bathroom were clean and the price was very cheap. If you like more of a quiet hostel then this would be a good place. I would like to mention the amazing staff and especially the owner. I had a special request (needed to get in touch with a local) and the owner tried his best and went out of his way to help me with this. We left our luggage to explore Mirissa and when we came back for it, we were waiting for someone and we could even have a shower while waiting (long after checkout time). We could definitely say that we would return to this hostel. I recommend it 100%!!

Reviewed By NbaekHad the time of my life here. Spent in total more than 2 months during the corona times. They have one of the best matrasses of the Sri Lanka hostels. The AC rooms are amazing. + Razlan (the manager) is the best; very helpful and speaks very good english and is very clever. Feels sad to leave this place

Perfect stay for my family
Reviewed By Gvido VA house owned by a very friendly and helpful local family. We had air-conditioning and the room was nice and clean. We were travelling with a baby and im so happy we select this place. Away (but not too far) from Weligama, in a lovely neibourhood with palm trees and monkeys. There are 2 very good restaurants just 5 min walk from the house - Akila Kitchen and Turtle Bay Restaurant. Also the family cooks delicious local meals. The breakfast is included and it was always filling, more than we expected and very good :) There are 2 beaches very close, the small and quiet Turtle beach and a good surf point - the Jungle beach. I would defenitely go in Aurea Villa again!

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, there is a great laid-back vibe, location is fantastic and just across the road from the beach, and the cafe does great food and drinks. Will definitely stay again if back in Weligam

Reviewed By stefane658My experience was awesome. Enjoyed the open big house and the yoga Shala upstairs that you can use at any time. Could be a little cleaner in kitchen and bathrooms. Location is good, nice to be away from the road, close to a temple which unfortunately had a ceremony every morning at 5 am when we stayed
