Reviewed By dantaggWe had a fabulous time staying at Wadi Rum Local Camp. Salem was really clear where to meet in the village and then after meeting us he took us to the camp. We spend two days visiting all the various sites having a lot of fun. The food back at camp was traditional and delicious. The night sky, sunset, dawn and the views were all incredible. I think one evening when I took a walk out into the desert in late afternoon was the first time I ever experienced total silence.

I just want to say STAY AWAY & NEVER THINK ABOUT IT..... wasting money, time, and energy even the location that was expected to be good is in the middle of noise and non-stop VERY LOUD MUSIC 24/7 !! STAY AWAY AND GO anywhere else with no 'Amer'name because it would be the same owners managing different hostels and weird types of buildings!!!! If you insist to save a few JDs and stay there, You will eventually figure out yourself how there are many positive reviews for such a place! I left the place and ENJOYED AQABA in multiple different places and really got a positive experience after that horrible one there In my opinion, if anyone has time before traveling back to his/her country he/she must take an action with the government to close the place immediately.

No recomiendo su tour en jeep
Reviewed By Mary_CabreraEl campamento es precioso y la comida estupenda. Por la noche está iluminado de forma muy agradable, pero los ladridos de su perro no nos dejaron dormir. No nos sentimos acogidos por su dueño, al contrario. Esperábamos mucho más por el precio que pagamos. El tour en jeep es una estafa, pagamos 70jod por 4h y nos llevaron a 4 sitios cercanos donde paraban a fumar y tomar té por mucho tiempo. El atardecer lo vimos en un lugar nefasto. Suerte que volvimos a Wadi Rum y vivimos una experiencia increíble en otro lugar. Lo recomiendo para pasar solo 1 noche,cenar rico y listo.

Darna divers village
Reviewed By ImranSarahIt was my first stay at Darna which I really enjoyed. Definitely coming back here when I’m in Jordan. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. You get kind of a homey feeling staying here. So if you are looking for a more personal stay, this is the place. It’s even right across the beach and they have their own diving center with very competent personal. The dive was a great experience and I’d like to come back for a longer stay to get a diving certificate.

Reviewed By Experience58909Stayed with my son for 2 nights and manager Mr.I is one of the kindest I met. Since it was just my son and me, he accommodated us in a vacant flat for more privacy. Apartment was clean, smelled so good, as were the linens and blankets. Hot drinks facilities and other basic kitchen amenities were also available. The filtered water faucet was helpful. No need to buy bottled water outside. Just refill in your own bottle and you are good to go. When we checked out, our ferry leaving for Egypt was not till 2000 hrs. Mr.I further extended his kindness by allowing us to store our unlocked bags at the property. Also, since we checked out on Friday, and my son had to perform Friday prayers at the mosque nearby, Mr.I allowed me to wait for my son in the apartment, thus allowing us an even later check-out. I find the kindness overwhelming and wished we could stay longer. Thank you Mr.I and Room 17. You were amongst the kindest we experienced during our travels. It's personal touches like these that will make us come back.

Avevo scelto il City hostel principalmente per il costo molto competitivo, ma una volta arrivata ho scoperto che era cambiata la gestione e che l'albergo era stato completamente rinnovato nei giorni precedenti. Ho trovato un ambiente molto allegro, pulito e accogliente, con personale gentilissimo e sempre pronto ad aiutare. Ho sicuramente trovato il mio punto di appoggio per le volte che tornero' ad Aqaba per fare le mie immersioni. Lo consiglio vivamente, il rapporto prezzo/qualita' e' imbattibile.
