Amazing experience
Reviewed By juliette_gchtThe welcome is really friendly, Dudley and his sister Priyani are absolutely amazing and caring. The garden is really peaceful and beautiful with its tree houses. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The dinner was tasty, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied, with lots of sri lankan sweets. I totally recommend that lost in the nature guest house !! ?

Great stay and wonderful hosts
Reviewed By micoandnicoleOur stay at Radha Tourist Home was more than perfect for our short stopover through Polonnaruwa. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The large dining area was convenient and the shared kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to make our own food. The hosts are also very kind and responsive. Their great hospitality was immediately noticeable when they greeted us with delicious tea when we arrived. They showed us exactly where to go and what to expect when we visit the famous city ruins nearby. If we had to go through Polonnoruwa once more, we wouldn't hesitate booking with Radha Tourist Home again!

Lovely home with cooking class
Reviewed By Madimado PWe went to this Place after the lovely recommendation by the husband of the host who runs the sigiriya cottage. The host welcomed us warmly and invited us to her kitchen to join her cooking. We learnt to make Dhal Curry and enjoyed a bunch of delicious sri lankan currys. As a little surprise we got some jummy ice cream :) We can highly recommend this place. We would have loved to spend some days at her „Home Stay“ as well!

Perfect budget accommodation
Reviewed By passport_nomads_ausSo glad we picked Umaya holiday home. It was a great quiet spot out of Anuradhapura but very easy to access the town and sites, we had our own transport. There is a shop at the end of the street across the road for water and icecream etc. Very close to Mango Mango restaurant, definitely eat there. The host was so sweet, she couldn't do enough to help. Very clean and wifi was good.

Perfect place to stay
Reviewed By Caro GThe little cabanas are located in a forestry backyard close to the train station, which is very convenient for travelers arriving late by train. The owner, Indike, is a very lovely man who will drive you into Habarana town in his tuk tuk without charging you it is also a great place for any other travelers. Because there are very few trains passing by, the place is nice and quiet to relax with frequently visiting wild elephants snooping around the garden. The rooms are spacious and very clean and have everything you need. Indike also drove us to Sigiriya for a reasonable price, arranged a very good guide and Jeep for an elephant safari and got us a reliable driver to Haputale. Overall he was a very lovely host who got us everything we needed even if it was hot water in the middle of the night for some Sri Lankan cough medicine.

Good base for the ruins
Reviewed By GtirmanRuins only 10 mins by tuk tuk from here. Staff were great, rooms were huge and clean and air con super icy. Monkies on the upper level dining area in the trees surrounding Hotel 51. Only downside was that it was advertised on Booking.com as free b/f but that isnt so. If you walk 4 minutes down to the elephant round about there is a good restaurant with great b/f.
