Secure and roomy apartment-hotel with great pool
Reviewed By Hermes_NLThe Joah Inn is relatively close / walking distance from the historic city centre of Paramaribo, or actrually in that centre. Quite pleasant and secure behind a guarded fence, an oasis of rest in a bustling city. Two good cheap restaurants nearby, Joosje and the famnous Roopram. They have apartments but also rooms which are very much like normal American hotel rooms including two double beds, a microwave and a small fridge (and a safe box as well). Airconditioning and wifi function very well. As a bonus there is a spacious and fairly green pool area with adjacent covered outdoor bar/restaurant area. All together quite pleasant and good value for money!

From the friendly staff to the importance of customer care, I enjoyed every bit of my trip. The pool has honestly been the highlight ofnit all. Its not a big pool,but perfect to just unwind after work or hang out with friends in the weekend. Wilhelmina is the place to be. No complaints and no dissapointments.

Reviewed By XajelTop accommodatie, locatie, ammenities en service! Onze kamer had een eigen balkon. Die wind was ook enorm, dus hoefde de AC niet altijd aan. Aangenaam verrast met de privé parking en eigen remote vd poort. Ik kan hier zeker aanbevelen. De locatie is ook heel goed gelegen.

Sympathique lieu
Reviewed By Seb30130Situé à 5/10 en taxi et 30/45 minute à pied dans une très très calme, ce studio assez cosi pour un prix très raisonnable . Le seul ic pour ma pars c'est l'espace cuisine très fonctionnelle mais trop petite pour y manger( y déjeuner à la limite ) mais vu le prix d'un plat au restaurant quel qu'il soit( ~ 10€ ) ça vaut pas le coup de se privé sachant que les plats sont très copieux. En bref je vous le conseillerai.

The appartments are new, but built in old colonial style and contain a comfortable livingroomm a fully equipped kitchen and a toilet/shower (hot and cold water). Upstairs you'll find a masterbedroom and, adjacent, a smaller room with two seperate beds. In the flowery garden there is a large saltwater swimmingpool. Free WiFi at the swimmingpool till the first 2 appartments. If you want so we can make delisious lunch & diner for you. The cost for an appartment is euro 95,00 for 2 adults with or without 2 childerns from 0-12 years. We are for 75% Eco with our beautiful systems. Great morning wildlife viewing tour by river boat
Reviewed By Hermes_NLOne of the plusses of staying at the Apartments Bloemendaal is that you can make a great early morning river boat tour with their own ship, the Pikin Gudu. One side of the Saramacca river is still completely natural forest - with the guidance of captain Harry we managed to spot many birds, monkeys and also a beautiful sloth sitting in a tree. The Bloemendaal location is also used by the Sloth Sanctuary as a location to release animals into the wild. Otherwise the stay at Bloemendaal is very comfortable and very well taken care of. Communication beforehand is extremely clear and useful.

Friendly staff and good location
Reviewed By ABFranceWe stayed at the Hosta twice during the month of March 2018. The rooms are basic and have kitchen facilities and clean. The staff at the reception was very helpful as we were looking for a hairdresser and she rang several ones in Paramaribo (was Saturday afternoon) until she found one who could fit us in. Much appreciated. Service in the basic restaurant was very good and friendly. This is a practical location for central Paramaribo providing easy access to surrounding shops etc.

Surrealistic stay
Reviewed By Ammiel MThe hotel seems nice and the staff is very friendly but that's all. When arrived no one expected us. There was no staff when we want to check out. Our rooms, a house with 3 bedrooms, was awful for the price payed. Beds were broken, not enough cutlery, no water cooker, etc. Maybe the 'normal' rooms are better but I can't recommend the 'house'.

The apartments were very clean, affordable, spacious and comfortable, giving you a feeling as if you were at home. There were shopping centres in the area, restaurants and also supermarkets, everything was within walking distance. The management Patrick and his wife were also very helpful and friendly and assisted in whatever way they can. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to go to Suriname, I guarantee you would not be dissapointed

Heerlijk verblijf en vriendelijke eigenaar!
Reviewed By DaisyAmsterdam1985Heel fijn verblijf gehad, de eigenaar was vriendelijk en weet veel van de omgeving dus dat was heel prettig. De appartementen waren netjes ingericht en erg belangrijk: schoon! Het was ook niet ver naar het centrum dus wij raden deze locatie zeker aan voor volgende bezoekers. Veel plezier in Suriname toegewenst!
