Decent but insulting
Reviewed By whatamysaysblogThe Wesberly apartments are little out of town but an easy 20 minute stroll back to the centre. Staying here on a long trip whilst backpacking. Arriving at the budget hotel, we were greeted by the manageress Ms Irene. Her greeting words were "Oh you're staying here" she exclaimed in a pompous and condescending manner. She seemed to judge us because of our choice of travel style. The lady that showed us to our room was attentive and polite. The rooms are spacious but basic. An half hour after entering the room the AC began to leak pretty seriously. In search of someone to fix the issue, we eventually found a maintenance guy as there is no constant reception. Upon fixing the issue he was very apologetic as apparently the room should've been checked before allocating the room. Which made us wonder what else hadn't been checked? The pool is large, clean and always empty. There is shared kitchen however, the place isn't maintained so it looked dirty. On our penultimate night Ms Irene emailed demanding we let her know our checkout time, bizarre. With room being perfectly basic and I was feeling unwell, we responded asking if we could extend our stay, as our only substantial complaint would be with the nonexistent manageress anyway. Yet we received no response, eventhough our checkout time was profusely requested. So we decided to take our business elsewhere.

Reviewed By audreyw360Stayed at standard queen without window. Room is clean with attached bathroom. Very basic amneties. For me only downside is thin wall, not recommend for light sleeper. Otherwise, worth for budget stay around that area.

A decent&comfy place to stay
Reviewed By nitamusaMy 1st time staying in this apartment.It is suitable place to stay with a small family of four.The are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with one loungebed&2 bathrooms.The kitchenette equiped with several utensils for a short stay,a microwave&washing machine.It is clean and quiet place with secured CCTV parking space. I love the small island in the middle of the kitchen@livingroom for eating our dinner&chatted as a family.

(It is n-o-t hotel even.) Host said free wifi is available in all rooms, but can not. (Too slow, even can not send whatsapp.) And also SO DIRTY and lots of problems in facility. It was HORRIBLE. And Host LIES lots of things. WHAT A SURPRISE. How come this kind of person doing business in Malaysia ?

Reviewed By TiniyThough from the exterior this boutique hotel seems fairly new, however the interior has a poor finishing to it. I stayed only for a night as I had to catch the plane from Miri to Singapore. The TV doesn't work well in my room. Luckily the room seem clean enough and it has a good strong shower and aircon keeps the room nice and cold. For the price of Rm$115 i shouldn't expect anything more.

Descent room, big shared bathroom with lots of toilets and showers. Very clean and nice hot water showers. We stayed as a school group visiting from Australia. The staff were very helpful and friendly to all of our students and were able to help them make the most of their stay in Malaysia. Safe and convenient location. Highly recommend.
