Reviewed By v_bindaYes! This is a really nice hotel. Friendly staff. Johannes at the reception desk was really helpful and flexible. The rooms were clean and beautiful. I loved the shower. Didn't had breakfast so can't rate that. Definitely will stay here again if I need a place to stay in this area.

Reviewed By AmiReisenThis is a new hotel tucked into the back of a residential neighborhood, right behind the dykes and beach walkway. 2 minutes by foot to the beach, although you cant see it from the hotel. The beach is clean and calm; mainly due to the fact that the tide is out most of the day, leaving a wet sandy area that goes out a ways and you can walk around in. The shipping channel into the Elbe runs alongside the point where Cuxhaven is located, so you can watch the ships come and go from the beach. Public transportation to town is not great (3 lines of buses come 1ce/hr each, ending service around 9pm), so have a car or rent a bike to get around. Bed was very comfortable, and location was quiet. It was a great place to relax for a few days and take things at a slower pace.

Entspannte Ferien für Großeltern, Eltern und Kinder
Reviewed By strickstickWir sind erstmalig als "Großeltern" mit junger Familie und 3 Kindern angereist und haben eines der Familien-Zimmer bewohnt, Uns hat sofort der herzliche und persönliche Empfang gefallen (eine Herz-Schiefertafel mit unserem Namen an der Eingangstür und frische Blumen mit einer handgeschriebenen Willkommens-Karte auf dem Tisch). Die Kinder bekamen als erstes eine Einführung durch Herrn Köller in die diversen Spielmöglichkeiten auf dem Hof und alle waren sofort begeistert (und wir Großeltern/Eltern haben ab diesem Zeitpunkt während des Aufenthaltes auf dem Hof, die Kinder nur während der Essens-Zeiten gesehen und somit entspannte Tage verbracht. Die Zimmer war sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut "top". Wir können diese Ferienwohnung, besonders für Ferien mit Kindern uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great hotel, great staff
Reviewed By Matt FI spent two nights here while attending a wedding. It's such a beautiful and charming hotel, I fell in love with it. The rooms are spacious and modern and it's really quite. Needless to say that Drochtersen isn't a party city so you better run your errands when you can as this little town shuts down at night. But if you want to stay at a really nice hotel with great customer service, then this is the place for you. One suggestion: Pay the small upgrade for a view of the river, it's totally worth it.

Reviewed By G748OAmichaellWell I booked 3 days here just because it had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen,when we first pulled in i was a little concerned,its in the middle of a run down military base,so we drove back and forth a few times and I decided to go ahead and go in...shocking remodel on this place,it is new new new..we had some other friends stay in another room and the floor plans were all different,they must have 40 different layouts so when you book shop around a little,it has a vending machine with beer,breakfast,laundry room and plenty of parking. i would love to come back in a few years when the whole area is done,but it is good to go,only a few miles from downtown.

Reviewed By KallvikWe stayed here as part of the trip back to the uk. We were on the first floor but no proper view from the window. However the room was light and spacious. Lovely bathroom with a large shower. Toiletries provided. Kitchen area just one wall as you enter. It had everything we needed including a dishwasher, they even provided the tablet. Staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful Outside lots of shops and areas of interest. Parking is under the hotel. When we left I forgot my book ereader. They rang to tell me and told me what to do if I could not gett back to collect. Extremity helpful. Can't rate them high enough
