These spacious apartments in central Berlin feature free WiFi, a kitchenette and a balcony or conservatory. They are a 2-minute walk from the Friedrichstraße shopping street and the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt square. Renovated in March 2014, Clipper City Home Apartments Berlin include a living room with a flat-screen TV and a Bose stereo system. A kitchenette and Nespresso coffee machine are also provided. The apartment building has an underground garage. From here, an elevator takes you directly to your studio or apartment. All accommodation is completely non-smoking. A concierge service is available and a small Italian breakfast is served in the Italian restaurant, located in the same building. The apartment building also features a fitness and sports club and sushi bar. The Unter den Linden boulevard is a 3-minute walk away. Buses run directly to Zoologischer Garten from there. Mitte is a great choice for travellers interested in history, museums and architecture. This is our guests' favourite part of Berlin, according to independent reviews. This property is also rated for the best value in Berlin! Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city.

Reviewed By DorteOverbyPedersenThe staff is helpful and know their city. The room was clean and exactly as promised at the homepage. The hotel is located in the absolute middle of the city. Tip, using the back entrance, you will step almost right into the U-bahn. We will definitely visit again!

Reviewed By Jamie_rogPositives: -Great Location; close to Alexanderplatz, lots of very nice restaurants in the area, good tram and bus links -Great Value; the accommodation and facilities were high standard and nice finish considering the star rating and price we paid Negatives: -Staff not very friendly -Breakfast not worth it for the price -Quite noisy, we had 2 fire alarms (both turned out to be false) and hotel is next to a large building site (Oct 2019) Overall I would recommend as the positives are big positives and the negatives are only smaller things, depends what you value most.

An excellent weekend getaway
Reviewed By Kati KBreakfast was really good (especially considering standard German -level), and the room was really nice and had an excellent view, especially because we got a free upgrade for our room due to fully booked hotel situation. We also liked the location, for example a Michelin star restaurant "Nobelhart & Schmutzig" was nearby, to which we were able to get a table. But if you are looking for the best parties and some "queer -action", you might want to check out a place to stay a bit closer to the Kreuzberg center. It's approx. 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel. The only small criticism comes from the Bathroom lighting. If you need to go to the bathroom during the night, be prepared to be blinded by the lighting - there's no option to put on a dimmer nightlight. No biggie though. Also, we did not try the Spa -area, so cannot comment on that.

A Fancy Home Away From Home!
Reviewed By anirban bWe visited Berlin Jan-feb2022 - we were a family of three and stayed here - We stayed in a superior suite at The Schoenhouse by Limehome. Our room was the largest in the property measuring 53m2. So what I describe may not be there in the other apartments which are different in size and cost. Limehome is a boutique company that has these beautiful service apartments all across Europe. What struck me was the beautiful, elegant and simple interior designs and furniture - classy, very comfy, and very fancy. We stayed in a superior suite that came with a large sitting room and kitchenette and dining area. It also had a lovely wooden floored patio and sit-out area. the bedroom was very large with a double bed, a full-length mirror, and a cupboard. The couch in the sitting room turned into a large very comfy double bed. The kitchen unit had everything one could possibly want - coffee machine, all kinds of pots, pans, cutlery, wine opener (yay!) sieves, knives, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, two types of glasses, and even espresso shots! The bathroom was lovely - again well equipped with towels, shampoo, tissues, toilet seat covers. The TV was a smart TV - with over 300 channels (although 90% of them were in German!) and so we watched Prime, Disney, Youtube when we couldn't step out due to the cold. The rooms were very well heated. The location is fantastic... 900m from Alexanderplatz... and it had many eateries, restaurants, cafes, 24/7 convenience stores, liquor stores, departmental stores all either downstairs or just 300-400m away. The check-in process was super-smooth. What a wonderful new home we have found and experienced in Berlin. It was a happy accident that we found this online and we are so glad that we did!! The apartments are impeccably clean, well maintained and very well equipped. Every evening when we returned we looked forward to returning home - not a hotel, not a service apartment - but a home. Loved the sit-out area and the on-location team was super helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time. We shall definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By Tour486371It’s a terrible hotel. I never had a more worse experience with service before. In the beginning of April I made a reservation for a holiday weekend in may 2022. There was no option to cancel. Just a day before leaving the hotel told me there was no booking anymore in the system, because I would have cancelled. Not true, and not even possible, as said in the confirmation of the booking!! They would not help in anyway to fix this and all apartments where fully booked (Offcourse for a double of the price!). Scammers!

OK apartment - very bad service
Reviewed By Ian DWe actually booked a different apartment with the company (Limehouse) but when we went to collect the keys from the key safe (they text you a code) they were not there. Several calls and along wait later, they explained that there were no keys to be found and they would have to find another apartment. We were given the Flowers apartment in Mulackstrasse. So we walked there in the cold - now 2 hours of frustration and phone calls later - to find an OK apartment which was still filthy from the previous occupants and had dirty sheets and garbage piled up. More angry phone calls and a cleaning team turned up and told us to amuse ourselves (in the cold) for an hour and they would prepare the apartment. So we finally - at 6pm - got a reasonably nice apartment that was clean(ish). WiFi code was incorrect but by that time I couldn't face another phone call. When I contacted them again to provide some feedback about the 'service', I got a reply saying sorry about the wrong WiFi password - sometimes doesn't come up properly on people's phones - would you like a €10 refund. So, an offer of a derisory refund after a reasonably good attempt at ruining our one night in Berlin.....to say we were unimpressed would be an understatement. The apartment is however in a good part of Berlin. I just have little confidence in them providing a good service, considering our problems. Which we revisited the next day when we moved to another apartment run by the company (this time in Dresden) - this time the door code was wrong. Luckily the housekeeping staff were still there cleaning rooms. Overall I think the remote management - online login and access codes sent by email and SMS, does not seem to be working well and the response when you have a problem is hopeless. While we stood getting our non-existent keys from the keysafe, another couple were having a similar problem and getting exasperated, so it was not just us.

Now let's move on to the apartment. Large and modern space, blackout curtains, delightful cleanliness, full equipment and delightful surprises from the team in the form of snacks, delicious coffee, tea and mini prosecco in the fridge.

Reviewed By westenddeeVery nice modern apartment - we reserved one with a balcony which made a real difference and had a panorama over Berlin. Very pleasant for sitting out. Triple glazing in the windows kept the street noise out at night. Staff were helpful and made arrangements for out of hours check in too. Lots of facilities nearby - U-bahn, bike rental station, supermarket, cafes and bars etc. We will stay again when visiting family in Berlin

They respond quickly and are very happy to help with any questions. Clean and modern, really nice bathroom with powerful modern shower and heated flooring. All appliances you need to make/cook small items. Just perfect if your visiting the city for a few days and want your own space and a few home comforts rather than being in a hotel. Neighbours, who were permanent residents, were really nice too. Came over to introduce them selves and check if we were with young children as they were having a New Year’s Eve party. Very considerate. Location is great. Literally a 30 second walk from the metro. If you walk down the street about 5 minuets there are loads of bars, restaurants, cafes, grocery shops. Everything you could need on your door step. Would definitely recommend this place to stay and would stay again. Thank you.
