Great overnight stay
Reviewed By Maresa GThis is the perfect place for the "more than adequate" one night stay in Calama! It is close to the town and within walking distance (bonus!!) of the City Mall. It is a short (5000 pesso) taxi/Uber trip from the airport, so very convenient as the one-night transition that we had between San Pedro and Santiago. Our reception was a bit of a challenge with the Spanish-speaking receptionist, but, as usual, one always gets by! Our room had a double bed, ensuite shower (which was one of the better showers I've had), a little kitchenette, and a mini outside (caged) balcony. Toiletries and towels are provided. The room was very warm despite no heating. I can't comment on the breakfast as we had to depart early for our flight. Good location and good-sized apartment =???

Adequate but barely just
Reviewed By spearceukStayed for 2 nights while working in the area. Room was clean, bed was ok and the furniture functional. First stay in Calama so not a lot to compare it against but if you need WiFi for for work don't expect to get it done here. WiFi was sporadic at best and when it was working it was slow. Staff were friendly, had a restaurant but did n't eat there so unable to comment on quality of food. Free breakfast was mostly continental style.

Stuffy hotel, BAD service, Incompetent restaurant manager
Reviewed By NaliniMWe booked this hotel because we had an early morning flight from Calama and did not want to take a long shuttle drive from Pedro De Atacama that early and risk missing our flight. There were several issues with our one evening/night stay. 1. While the room was clean and all fixtures worked fine, it was stuffy as there was no ac or fan in the room. When we tried to open one of the windows to let in some fresh air, the mosquitoes got in so we had to close the window. As result, spent most of the night tossing and turning as the room was too warm. 2. The room came with a small kitchenette. It had only one drinking glass, one cup... It took three visits by the room service staff to figure out what we were asking before they finally brought the missing items! This is despite us showing the room service person what was missing. This just shows serious lacking of training in responding to customers who do not speak Spanish. 3. The front desk staff was pleasant but very very slow in checking us in. I looked like he was new on the job because anything we asked him, he did not understand or could not answer. 4. We decided the have the buffet dinner in the restaurant. The manager told us clearly that the price was 11,000 CP per person. There was quite a bit of variety and the food was fresh and fairly tasty. Then we get the bill and we notice that we have been charged 14,000 CP per person!!! When we call and ask the manager (I think his name is Fernando Hara), he says, "Oh, the price has changed but I did not know about it"!!!!! Seriously? How is it that he did not know what the correct price of the buffet was. It's not like the restaurant has a la carte service. THERE IS JUST ONE PRICE FOR HIM TO REMEMBER. Then he gets someone else to come and talk to us. We were firm. We said, if the restaurant manager/staff made a mistake in quoting the wrong price, it is their job to correct it and not make the guest pay the difference for their mistake. Then he tried to make us feel guilty by saying "Oh, I am new to the job. I will have to pay the difference out of my pocket...". We were shocked by his lack of professionalism. He should be fired. Finally, when the revised bill came, they had charged us 11,500CP per person. By then we were too tired and angry to fight anymore and left it at that.

Our apartments have kitchen, dining room and living room in the two rooms. Collective locomotion from and to the center near 20 meters. With a seal belonging to the Tourism Chamber of Antofagasta, we are also a Tour Operator in which we provide tourism services.

Reviewed By lorenav106Llegamos a este hotel porque nos derivaron de la aseguradora por un percance en el auto, cuando nos dieron la habitación no revise inmediatamente porque veníamos muy casados, pero al ir al baño me encuentro con que no habían hecho limpieza, habían pelos y restos de barro y tierra en los pisos, en la cocina habían platos que no guardaron de los ocupantes anteriores, ese no es un problema, pero cuando reviso los platos y vasos, estaban manchados y sin limpiar, no ordenaron antes de darnos la habitación. Olor a humedad y desagüe por todo el departamento que proviene del baño... Y la última desinfectacion, desrratizacion hecha por empresa fue en el 2017 según el adhesivo puesto en el baño... no lo recomiendo para nada. Dejo las fotos que adjunto para que la administración tome cartas en el asunto. Yo me fui a penas me di cuenta de esto.

Même pas une liste de d hôtels similaires a nous proposer .... Vraiment pas sérieux ni professionnel A ÉVITER

Departamentos Familiares y Matrimoniales totalmente equipados, con baño, cocina, living y comedor, terraza y estacionamiento gratis dentro del recinto. Todos los espacios son privados. A 15 minutos a pie del centro de San Pedro de Atacama. No muy lejos para disfrutar de calma del lugar y del paisaje del camino y lo suficientemente cerca para llegar caminando al centro del pueblo.
