Vrhnika is a small town with little bars and cafes, hence we all very much appreciate Human Fish brewery! Their terrace is cozy and so is inside. The staff is really friendly and beers are delicious. If unsure which beer to drink, definitely ask for the advice of the staff, as they know a lot about beers. I tried Combat Wombat, Sipa and one more beer (cannot remember the name) and they were all great.

Craft&Draft Gallus Beer Bar is a place with more than 200 types of craft beers in the bottle and 6 top quality rotational draft beers. Small selection of whiskey and local drinks. Very delicious home made brusketas and sandwiches. Friendly place with good music! :)

Thirsty river Brewing started in the summer of 2017 and is Bovec’s first and only microbrewery. The brewery produces small, 400 liter batches of all styles of ales. The tap house and brewery is located on the main square in beautiful Bovec situated in the Julian Alps. The brewery also runs a small, 14 person hostel which is great for group gatherings or traveling backpackers.

BEST bar in Bovec ! These guys are brewing their own beers ! And they are unbelievably good ! They trully rock ! If you like beers, you'll have the choice, as they offer more than 10 different types of beer. Just ask the team for some advices, they are super friendly !!! And if you don't like beer, they also have other house drinks, wines, good cocktails, ciders, and great coffee. We tried different bars in Bovec, and this place definitely had one of the best mood and atmosphere in town ! Perfect place to enjoy after a nice day in Bovec. They also have lots of games available to play with. We had such a great time there. Thanks guys ! We can't wait to come back ! Go visit them, have a beer or more, and ENJOY LIFE !

Local food, local beer, local people! A truly unique expirinece that you probably can't organize yourself! Get to the meeting point hungry, meet Barbara the guide, try Lasko beer, eat the food at 4 different places, see the main sights, meet the brewer and hear all the local stories. We had a great time!

Top tour, quite small group but Aljaz kept it going. Lots of history and even got into the working brewery to see the production line. Shame you can’t take pictures of the line but other than that well worth the money and time. Try the dark Unfiltered beer and the Bol instead of the normal lager.
