Reviewed By tbekxFive beautiful days in Koh Rong Sanloem, staying in a beachfront bungalow. We travelled in May and whilst it was grey and rainy all the way from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville, the weather on KRS was perfect. We made full use of all the on-site facilities and so enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, the cocktails were excellent, and the pool was beautiful. We booked our snorkeling trip, evening plankton tour and jet-ski hire through Miss Lily and were not disappointed. Many other guests we spoke to had already stayed at The One Resort before, and we will also be back for future stays. Also, book in for a beachfront dinner next door at Moonlight Resort and order the grilled crab with green Kampot pepper: Oh my!

Reviewed By LiJay73If you looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the Cambodian mainland, The Azure Guesthouse situated in the beautiful village of M'pai Bay on Koh Rong Samloem, a 45 minute ferry ride from Sihanoukville. The Guesthouse is wonderful, run by Jay and Dave who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are lovely, with big, comfortable beds, air conditioning and clean, private bathrooms. The village isn't too big, so you can easily immerse yourself in the village, island life. Azure is an easy 2 minute walk to the pier and beach. Also close to other beaches and treks. There are many food options in the village too. Jay and Dave are very knowledgeable on the island and village, and are happy to help with recommendations and advice throughout your stay. In addition to the restaurants and cafes in the village, The Azure has a bar/cafe next to the Guesthouse. Also, If you need a boat or want to go snorkeling or diving, Jay can organize it for you. There are some incredible sunsets from the island. So, there is a rooftop balcony at Azure so you can relax and watch the view over the water. This was my first visit to M'pai Bay and it won't be my last. I highly recommend The Azure, you'll never regret it.

I was able to spend a few weeks here during CORONA, and enjoyed the time tremendously, not only because of the perfect location of the hotel at the end of the fantastic beach, but also because of the wonderful care of Channy and Mao. The hotel was in top condition, the garden and the beach were well maintained, even when I was the only guest. I felt completely comfortable and was able to enjoy the time and relax during my stay. So I can recommend this hotel and in the highest tones the time here is worth every cent. Without any doubt for my point view absolute top class!

Dumping trash on the beach, they need to move it
Reviewed By 981jddsWe did a beach clean up all day. Most of the bars & resorts along the way helped to clean their space while we were doing the whole beach. However, the most trash was left on the property of Sol Beach.. When we went there to tell them they needed to clear up their trash, one disgusting staff member told us that he would ‘kick the sh## out of us’ if we came back to check it again. Please remove this trash, as if is offensive to the island, and to the planet. I will push this further if not resolved as soon as possible.

Reviewed By MoujadarraOur stay here was indeed a sweet dream—a combination between great service, pristine location, and good memories. We were here with our then four-month old baby and they were very accommodating to our needs. We looked forward to the included breakfasts which were simple but filling. We availed of their dinner package once and it was nice too (mostly grilled items). Our hosts were quite attentive (two Ukranian guys) and I remember they had this nice habit of lowering themselves in order to talk to us eye to eye whenever we were seated in the restaurant. We stayed for a week and due to our own booking mishaps, we ended up trying three different units during our stay (beachfront, back bungalows without ac, middle unit with ac near the restaurant). Out of all three, I'd have to say the middle one was our favorite. There were some points for improvement in the rooms but nothing that's unmanageable. Given the chance, we'd definitely want to return here and hopefully it would be as nice as we remember it to be.

Pearl Resort is a beautiful, relaxing and comfortable boutique resort on Saracen Bay, Koh Rong Samloem Island. It is situated on the eastern side of Koh Rong Samloem Island an Unspoiled Tropical Island Paradise In The Gulf Of Siam which is 24 km from the Cambodian coastal town of Sihanoukville. Our private beautiful white sand beach stretching for more than 200 meters with an infinity pool and a sunken bar just right in-front of the beach. Calm and clear sea water with marine life just at the edge of the beach will entice you to snorkel or dive. 17 bungalows nestled in the Tropical Forest have easy beach access with some of the bungalows includes private plunge pool. All bungalows are air-conditioned, have either beach or mountain views, and have warm water, en-suite bathrooms. The king size beds comfortably accommodate 2 adults and there are options for those who require an extra bed. There is free WiFi in all bungalows and throughout the property.
Pretty average for what we paid

We had to wait at the pier for someone to pick us up, even thought i was reassured they d wait for us. We got to the resort and shown to our bungalow. I wd give 5 stars for the cleaning. During our stay was just us and one other couple. There were some occasional guests, but only for one night. Working on hospitality myself for more than 20 years, i was very disappointed by the staff. Having to deal with 4 regulars they made no effort. It was obvious they didnt want to work. In 4 days we spent over $250 on F&B and would have spend more if we didnt have to go to the bar everytime to ask for a drink. Shame, cause the location is really good. Water pipes through the restaurant, the sunbeds not in good condition, the day before our departure the WiFi was down and we could not check our flights. At some point one of our flights was cancelled and instead of leaving earlier, we decided to stay and booked with another airline.We were in a good mood and we really needed the break, so we didnt complain. The resort after our departure closed down as they had no other guests arriving. Hopefully they will open soon, as it s a really nice place, just need to pay more attention to guests

This budget island accommodation is self catering. Complete with kitchen, refrigerator, twin tub washing machine, Smart TV and 8 large mixed dorm beds. Bread is baked in a Dutch camp oven. Set back from the beach in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Find your way to the M`Pai bei school and take the first right on the sandy street and walk 50 metres. Look for the silver 5000 liter rainwater tank to the left and your home

Reviewed By goldied707I absolutely loved staying here. Andrew is a warm and excellent host. He made chocolate cake while I was over and cooked chicken. His bread, cakes and cooking itself is worth the stay. The location is perfect because you get to meet a lot of the locals since they hang around and stop by to say hi. I recommend this place to anyone who's planning a trip to M'Pei Bei. I'd love to come back!
