Small and cozy guest house
Reviewed By Peter ZVoyno Guest House is very nice small cozy house in Dobrinishte. The village is close to the ski resort Bansko and is famous with the mineral water. The house is excellent. The rooms has own small balconies, where you can relax. The owners are very kind and makes your stay very special. The free Wi-Fi is with very good speed. If you need to relax for several days I strongly recommend this place.

Beautiful and charming
Reviewed By LauraWozEreWe are a family of four who have been visiting Bansko to ski for several years now. This year we decided to stay outside Bansko and book Hotel Makedonska Kruchma in Dobriniste for a week in March. I would like to say a big thank you to everybody at the hotel for making this year's vacation the best yet. Hotel Makedonska Kruchma is 10 mins drive from Bansko. The hotel is charming in appearance and the rooms are clean and traditional. Ours was a suite made up of a double bedroom with modern ensuite bathroom, and a living area that had two single beds, a sofa, armchair, coffee table, minibar fridge etc. There was a tv in both rooms, showing news, sports and entertainment channels (most in Bulgarian language but some were in english language with Bulgarian subtitles, e.g. Animal Planet). The bedroom had a spacious balcony with comfortable chairs and a view of the mountains. In response to a previous commenter, we were not at all disturbed by noise from the restaurant, even at the weekend when it was very busy, and we never noticed any cigarette smoke - our room was quiet and peaceful. There is no ski drying/storage room in the hotel - we left our equipment to dry in the car and dried our gloves in the room. The staff are professional, friendly and some speak excellent english which was useful because we have not made much progress in learning bulgarian language. A very kind lady even did some laundry for us. The food at Hotel Makedonska Kruchma is sensational. The menu is long and includes bbq, salads, vegetable dishes and desserts. The local wine is lovely. Breakfast is included with your stay and offers Bulgarian dishes e.g., omelette, fried bread, yoghurt, ham, cheese and herbal teas. Since our family are a bit stuck in our ways for breakfast, we got our own muesli and black tea from the supermarket, which we had with the hotel's yoghurt, local jam/honey and toast. The hotel has a little swimming pool, a nice hot tub and a lovely sauna and steam room. All are indoor and very clean. Slippers and towels are provided but not bathrobes. We used the hotel spa a bit but our habit is to go to Banya for the outdoor hot springs. This hotel is a true delight and it was a privilege to stay there. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Makedonska Kruchma.

They have sauna and steam bath, which are pretty good. We were delighted to stay there. I recomend this place!

We found it incidentally but for sure we will be back! + this morning we went to gastronomic heaven with their home cooked Bulgarian breakfast - just ask for it <3 Прекрасно място, чисто, приветливо, уютно, нови мебели и бани, супер любезни и лъчезарни домакини. Случайно го открихме, но със сигурност ще се върнем. +тази сутрин чай от риган, домашен мед и сладко и хубаво кафе - гастрономически рай :)

Nice place for a few days off
Reviewed By Gergana DWe went to Hotel Elit in February for a ski weekend. It's a small family hotel with a lot of charm. The breakfast is home made and everything we had for dinner was great! The location is quite nice - not a long way from the center of Dobrinishte, but just enough for a quiet relaxation at the end of the day. You can rent ski equipment from the hotel and you can ask the owner for any help you need.

Reviewed By Claudia EThis guesthouse had everything I ask for when I travel: clean and hot bed and shower. It's very modest and located in the small town of Dobrinishte. It's located 15 minutes from the ski slope (driving) and the owner can arrange a car to take you there. We had breakfast and dinner included. We really enjoyed the home cooked meal, although at times the portions were on the small side. So make sure you have big lunches. The owner George and his son Thomas, we're very helpful and even sang happy birthday to me in Bulgarian on the second day of our stay. Finally, if you are not fluent in Bulgarian, make sure you travel with someone who is. As no one in the entire town speaks English. Over all, very good value for money.

Just Terrible!
Reviewed By Svetoslav DThis place is really really terrible! When we got there after a whole day of skiing, we were welcomed with cold room. Perfect just what you would hope for. It turn out that the carpet was not cleaned this decade and was quite sticky at some places. When I tried to take a shower the shower head was not working! Perfect! The have offered me a new room and I have accepted. Things were a bit better - the carpet was looking cleaner compared to the one in the previous room and the shower head seems to be operational. Still the room was quite cold and the radiators were not working. I was told that it will be fixed in 15 mins. About 10 mins later the hotel manаger came to our new room and said that we were not capable of operating this very complicated device the head shower and was indeed a bit stuck, but operational. I told her that I'm not Arnold Schwarzenegger , but was quite sure that if I continue trying, I was going to brake the shower. She was trying to convince me that I was wrong. Anyway ... the room was still quite cold and we went for a walk. 1.5 hours later the radiators were still not working. After another chat with the hotel manager they have manage to get them working. As it turns out they were not able to make the temperature in the room good enough for us. Maybe it was ok if you're Eskimo. So piece of advice - Stay away from this hotel!!!

Reviewed By svvvvvvvАдски некоректно отношение на собственика, при промяна на резервацията (съгласувана с него по телефона) отидохме, каза че няма стая за нас въпреки че беше казал че всичко е наред. Разбрахме се за нова дата в деня в който пътувахме звънна в 8:30 да не каже да не идваме изобщо. Промяната не беше отразена в booking и дори няма да си получим и парите обратно. Моля ви не правете нашата грешка отидете на друго място! Всяка промяна беше съгласувана с него и той беше съгласен! (Системата му за резервации е тетрадка в която пише на ръка в 21ви век) Very bad host, after a change in the date of our reservation (the change was made over the phone) we arrived at the hotel the host told us that there is no room for us. We agreed to change the date again and in the day of our arrival he called at 8:30 in the morning and told us that we should not go at all. The changes were made over the phone and in person and not entered in booking.com so we won't get our money back. Please do not make our mistake and just don't go there! He was very arrogant when we talked to him and every change in our dates was agreed upon. (He keeps track of the reservations in a notebook in the 21 century)
