Nice Territory, but Unfriendly Service
Reviewed By ivankoThe hotel has the nice territory and the rooms are fine. However, the restaurant is below any expectations-the dinner tasted worse than any canteen. The service is rude-I had to fight with the waiter to get a glass of water on the breakfast at 11.05 when they stopped serving anything. The manager Maxim was also far from friendly. Please, fix the attitude!

Its very basic accommodation and the buildings are a bit old and need refurbishing, however it has what you need. The smorgasboard meals were really great....I think the highlight of our stay

Many attractions on the territory (skiing, skating, swimming pool, spa, billiards ping pong, slot machines... duck feeding!). Easy to reach with different transport (car and public)

Beautiful area, but lacking in some areas
Reviewed By Lisa SThe grounds are beautiful,well laid out, forest, trees. The room was decent, large shower,wifi (good) comfortable beds. The swimming pool was large, but unfortunately, they let family in with 2 huge blow up toys 6ft and took up one lane to swim! Should not be allowed as there is only 3 lanes.We tried to book a massage and were told has be 2 days notice, jacuzzi wasn't working (no mention of when it would be fixed), bowling alley not working, can't swim in the lake.Tons of kids,and activities for kids, but if you adults, not much on offer for you. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned,and fresh towels. Food was disappointing, same every day, mediocre at best, again catered to children's tastes, french fries (cold) mash potatoes (cold) need some variation and at least hot,and the deserts were horrible and the same, dry roll ups,and some jello things which were tasteless. Wine offered was horrible, would also recommend beer being offered. Improve on food, make more adult variants with lasagna, pastas with white/red sauces, some Asian foods, kebabs, fish, chinese, and deserts with tortes, chocolate, pies,cakes. Beer and decent wines included. And have a nice restaurant separate where adults can eat and have more gourmet menu, even if you pay extra. Would be good to have everything working, If you charge for it being included. Keep the toys out of the pool. Try including archery, horse riding, concerts especially things for adults.

Two territories, two lakes/ponds, barbecues, entertaining programs for kids, discos... Everything is little bit Soviet but not frightening. Bike rentals in summer, skis at winter. Paintball, tennis court, football pitch...

It's all about SPA
Reviewed By tmetamorfosisI don't know any other SPA hotels for this amount of money in Moscow region. I've compared several of them. And even after it I went only here because managers of other hotels have still recommended Solnechny. It's very convenient that they have full board meal which is enough for several days. I usually goes there for 4 days. Also all drinks are included (variety of soft drinks, beer, wine and vodka). There are several fridges with water and ice-cream in many locations. I won't say that there are plenty of activities to do. But there is animation for children in the morning and at night. Also there are live music (which I don't like myself but many people where dancing and singing). There is a tea house where you can take coffee/tea with cookies only however there is real karaoke system. There is fun house where you can find several roads with bowling (didn't try it, decided not to waste our time). You need to book it 1 day before. Also there are several american and russian billiard tables (they were not empty but if you smart enough you will find time when to play, for example when most people to go to there activities as SPA and meals). The main gem is SPA. There 16 saunas, 2 indoor and 3 heated outdoor pools (2 small ones: with salty water and jacuzzi and huge one on the first floor). It's inconvenient that there are no bar on the territory. During summer time there is one bar outdoor where you can grab ice-cream and beverages but it doesn't work on nasty weather. During that time you can take water, herbal tea and cookies inside of the SPA. I've stayed in different type of numbers. I've heard that single room are too small so I've skipped them. Patio rooms are convenient for smokers as long as you will have private access to fresh air. Also we've stayed in Lux rooms. I won't recommend them. All Lux type numbers are located in 13 and 14 buildings which are far away from everything but that's nothing (5-10 min walk), there are disgusting smell around them. And hotel managers know about it and it's impossible to do with it. Because right in front of it there is sewerage system of other country-site houses or even from hotel. They don't tell about it. And smell sometimes goes directly inside of the rooms. Also there is a beautiful beach/ ponton where you can sit and relax during warm time and even there are stairs to swim in the lake. During the rest seasons you can just enjoy weather and see several geese and swans. Even if they have many small nuances which they need to fix, it's only one place where I could go in Moscow area to have such lazy swimming pool/sauna relaxing holiday for this value.

Reviewed By Eli TNot all inclusive. Food - average if not worse, everything else is payable. The water in the room (WATER!) is 200 ROUBLES, tea is 150... A bit insane if you think that they charge the price of a European hotel in a country that doesnt know service and customer loyalty. I would not go there again. Of the nearly $500 spent for two days, we could have gone to Europe and not have to see the unsmiling faces of the front house staff. There was however an amazing circus bear - which they saved from being killed a circus closing. This was pretty cool and nice.
