Nice Place with weird price policies

We really like the time at the venue and the hostel is located close to relevant metro stations (JR Railway Pass). However the price policies of the hostel for towels and stuff like slippers, storing luggage, etc. are weird and expensive and do not match the concept. Also being an environmentally friendly hostel does not match with not providing reusable towels but single use paper towels in the bathrooms.

Nice clean Japanese Style Room
Reviewed By Melonyp123We enjoyed our stay here. It was just for one night, however and our only complaint was that the tatami mats were new and had an overwhelming odor that we weren’t accustomed to. The room was very clean,and a fantastic private bath. The front desk staff spoke enough English and were very friendly.

Reviewed By yukko_ta出張の際、素泊まりで利用しました。フロントの方も対応が良かったですし、懇親会があったので食事していませんが、付属のレストランもとても美味しそうでした。 部屋はカードキーではない、かけるタイプです。お風呂や部屋の設備は料金を考える十分なものだと思います。 ただ立地…吉原のど真ん中なので、夜はちょっとびっくりするかもしれません。 バス停や駅にも少し歩きますので、アクセスもそんなに良くはないかと。 でもやはり、この地域で6000円代は安いと思いますので、差し引きしていいかどうかですね。

Basic room with shared bathrooms
Reviewed By TTCTOLocation is about a 10 minute walk to closest JR and subway station in Minami-Senju. The rooms are VERY small with hardly any space to move around. Each floor has many rooms with two shared showers and one shared bath. There is one toilet for men and one toilet for women on each floor. There are two sinks outside the bathrooms in the hallway. Towels are available at a fee of 200 Yen for the stay. They only take cash so bring enough to pay for your whole stay. Not much interaction between the host besides the hello and goodbye each day. Limited english at reception. There are laundry machines available at a cost of 200 yen to wash and 100 yen to dry. Rooms have air conditioning which you can control.

Wonderful apartment, perfect for a pleasant stay for a few days or even weeks.
Reviewed By juergfrombernWe, a family of 4 with 2 kids, had the beautiful queen suite apartment. There were two bedrooms and a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen area. Everything was in a very good condition and very clean. Furthermore it was very quiet, we heard nothing from the neighbors. We liked the neighborhood a lot. It was quiet and we felt very safe. Each time we came back we enjoyed the pleasant contrast to the extremely busy downtown areas. A convenience store is nearby and there are many wonderful small restaurants. There are also many small stores to explore, and the Asakusa temple area is just 5 minutes away. The Asakusa station is 10 - 15 minutes away on foot, depending on luggage. This walk can be a bit tiring but is doable. In between the temple and the station is a large shopping area, which should not be missed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we could store our luggage for a few hours before and after our stay. In summary, it was a perfect stay and if we come ever back to Tokyo we will for sure stay here again.

Reviewed By Jolanta APLUSY: Świetna lokalizacja-blisko stacji metra i pociągów oraz knajp i restauracji; zabezpieczone wifi, które działa b.dobrze i korzystna cena za noclegi. W obiekcie są 2 pokoje (4os. i 3os.), 3 toalety i jeden prysznic. MINUSY: Bardzo strome i wąskie schody, brak drzwi w naszym pokoju-była kotara, skrzypiące łóżka, które się o siebie ocierają co powoduje dodatkowy hałas,sprzątanie obiektu tylko raz w tygodniu,zatkany odpływ pod prysznicem.Na dole jest mikro bar, który działa w piątki i soboty wieczorem co generuje hałas (muzyka, głośne rozmowy) a co gorsza smród papierosów.
