Reviews on Central European food in Lasko, Styria Region, Slovenia. Laško (pronounced [ˈlaːʃkɔ] ( listen); German: Tüffer) is a spa town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Laško. Traditionally the area was part of the Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The town is located at the foothills of Hum Hill on the Savinja River. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1227 and was granted town privileges in 1927. It is known to have been settled since the Iron Age and Roman archaeological finds are common in the area, though the precise location of the Roman settlement is not known. Today the town is best known for its annual Festival of Beer & Flowers (Pivo - Cvetje) and the local Laško Brewery, the largest brewery in the country. In 2010, Laško was heavily affected by flooding.

What a restaurant, what a meal, what a view, what a night! Iâm so grateful that we found this restaurant! We couldnât decide what to eat, so we ended up order the 10 courses menu, and we didnât regret. Everything tasted delicious. The chef came to see us, and to tell us about the dishes, very nice. Thank you, Pavos!Thank you for the visit and for the great review. Slovenia has great restaurants, you just have to dig a little deeper and do some research. Hope to cook for you again soon.

been there for dinner,restaurant was full so we sit close to the counter,but was very nice,the price was very good fot the quality and the quantity of food and the food was amazing. The presentation of the dishes was very impressive. Absolutely to try.

In the city center, nice hotel with big coffee place/restaurant. Good desserts, good coffee, big breakfasts (or in the coffee shop, or in the hotel dinning room (10 EUR for non-hotel guests). Didn't use the rooms, but they should be nice.

Where to start!I loved this restaurant so so much. From the entrance where you feel like you are entering a medieval castle with the rose bushes everywhere and grand staircase to the beautifully decorated restaurant, the gorgeous terrace overlooking Celje castle, the whole place transports you to a magical place that's even before you taste the mind blowing food. The food is traditional slovenian with a modern twist. It's an experience like no other. The food is made with such love, you can feel it in every bite. The service is impeccable as well.Must say this is one of the most memorable restaurants I have ever been. It ticks all the boxes and I give it 10/10 in every single aspect. The husband had to literally drag me out of there, if it was up to me I'd stay there forever!Cant wait to go back
