Find out what European restaurants to try in Lasko. Laško (pronounced [ˈlaːʃkɔ] ( listen); German: Tüffer) is a spa town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Laško. Traditionally the area was part of the Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The town is located at the foothills of Hum Hill on the Savinja River. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1227 and was granted town privileges in 1927. It is known to have been settled since the Iron Age and Roman archaeological finds are common in the area, though the precise location of the Roman settlement is not known. Today the town is best known for its annual Festival of Beer & Flowers (Pivo - Cvetje) and the local Laško Brewery, the largest brewery in the country. In 2010, Laško was heavily affected by flooding.

This is by far the best restaurant in region. When you enter the restaurant you can feel the amazing ambient and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It feels like they are a good team. Oh, last but not least, the food!! I cannot believe that you can transform home-grown vegetables into such a modern cuisine. Me and my group really love it!5 zvezdic!Hvala hvala hvaaalaaa

Even if rated "average", it doesn't mean average on all fields. Design and ambient is great, also food is great. Only minus was service (nice, but without knowledge about food, wine, payment options...), also pushing us to finish soon, as "they have to work next day". P.S.: we also had to work next day, but we didn't see each other (group of 16 people) for almost a whole year...Still, if in Celje, I recommend to visit and have a (short) lunch.

Picikato is now a days modern food court where you could pick different type of food - from Italy to Bosnia, If may I joke a little bit. In the history this was only a pizzeria and nothing more. Interior is modern, bright and big. Outside is medium big terrace and a lot of parking spots. Staff was nice, kind and fast with order accepting. Menu has in a first site a seasonal type of recommended food, a lot of it and others too, sorted in menu by different type us pasta, pizza, salads, grill etc. I order a home made slovenia salad from long green bean with sour cream and roasted pork on. Very yummy. This salad was served in bread cup and it was a little warm. Looking very tasty and it was delicious. You have my recommendation. Prices are a bit higher that in others places in Celje but not too high. Nobody from our group take a pizza, so I could not give a proper rating for that. My food, which I chose, was okay and tasty. Enjoy like we did.

Where to start!I loved this restaurant so so much. From the entrance where you feel like you are entering a medieval castle with the rose bushes everywhere and grand staircase to the beautifully decorated restaurant, the gorgeous terrace overlooking Celje castle, the whole place transports you to a magical place that's even before you taste the mind blowing food. The food is traditional slovenian with a modern twist. It's an experience like no other. The food is made with such love, you can feel it in every bite. The service is impeccable as well.Must say this is one of the most memorable restaurants I have ever been. It ticks all the boxes and I give it 10/10 in every single aspect. The husband had to literally drag me out of there, if it was up to me I'd stay there forever!Cant wait to go back

A nice place in Celje, me and three other girl friends used to like going there from time to time. This time the food was below average, with the exception of the dessert, even if served on really fancy plates. We were disappointed by the service, they did not approach without being called, although they weren't so busy. Then, without a question if we perhaps wanted to order anything else, we were asked to pay the bill. And a short time later, all the lights except the one at the exit went out. No one said a Word to us. O, they're closing down, we thought, humbly got up and left, as did another company of friends who have only finished their meal not long ago. It was half past eleven, Fridays night. Later I checked the opening times online and it says until midnight on Fridays. They could at least say a Word, couldn't they?Dear guests,thank you very much for taking your time and sharing your personal experience with us.We are fully aware, how important is the time, that you decide to spend with your loved ones, accompanied by a lovely meal. In the city center, nice hotel with big coffee place/restaurant. Good desserts, good coffee, big breakfasts (or in the coffee shop, or in the hotel dinning room (10 EUR for non-hotel guests). Didn't use the rooms, but they should be nice.

My boyfriend and I were there to try burgers. We decided to go with the cheapest one for 6,90⬠(I don't exactly remember the name) as the components looked like the ones for the usual burger.We got it fast (15-20 mins for crowded restaurant is normal). Brugers were ordered rare and medium, which we both got. Meat is really delicious. Improvements could be made in bread (potato bread for example), the rest was fine.Hi Alja, thanks for leaving a review! We appreciate it. You must be talking about Oscar Bilby burger. We were really excited when we introduced our new and improved burgers earlier this year. We even added some new flavors with great feedback! We would love to see you again soon.P.S. Restaurant Pavus is situated in a small castle overlooking the town of Lasko. Easy accesible on foot from city center or by car. Visit for the view and choose from a varitiy of Lasko beer or a wide choice of local wines, have a dessert or a lavish dinner.

What a restaurant, what a meal, what a view, what a night! Iâm so grateful that we found this restaurant! We couldnât decide what to eat, so we ended up order the 10 courses menu, and we didnât regret. Everything tasted delicious. The chef came to see us, and to tell us about the dishes, very nice. Thank you, Pavos!Thank you for the visit and for the great review. Slovenia has great restaurants, you just have to dig a little deeper and do some research. Hope to cook for you again soon.
