The size is deceiving from the outside, though large it is welcoming. This beach is flanked by rocks on either side, typical of the beaches around Buzios. Very scenic! Unfortunately there are lots of beach restaurants with people accosting you every few steps to sit down at one of their tables. Only at one end you can sit away from the businesses - and that part is packed. Off season might be better.

We had lunch, my husband and I yesterday, December 15. We had dinner with my friends at night .Rogerio, the waiter was the same and we love him! He maketh perfect! The ocean view , the place is colonial style, beautiful and calm, plenty of tables and inside has ac..We loved the drinks and the food was perfect! Delicious fried dishes, cod fish croquettes, feijoada de fritos do mar( sea food and white beans , bell peppers, onions, cilantro , tomatoes etc...feijoada, Portiguese and Brazilian style), we also had shrimp muqueca...wow! So yammy!I recommend.I loved the pastels( better than empanada. It's very Brazilian! It's very , very good!

As others already have said, it's a bit pricey, but the flavours are there and the seafood is absolutely fresh. Portions are not small, considering the quality of the ingredients. The spectacular view of the Orla Bardot is also a highlight, as is the service. Try to make a reservation, though, specially for dinner.

This hotel restaurant is next to the pool and is not particularly elegant nor does it have a great atmosphere. But the view is nice. We were not expecting much and thus we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food: The salad and the fish dish were excellent - one of the best we had in Buzios. The pasta was good but average.

We have just had the most amazing lunch, ceviche with shrimps and grilled fish with lots of extras, the ceviche was the best ever, so fresh, would thoroughly recommend...."lovely charming waiter, live music, just drop the singers a few real, will def comeback. A place who will not destroy Brazilian seafood. Reasonable prices for the one that pays happily for a good meal. And for that I mean not only excellent ingredients and owner-personal attention, also the chef mixes local products with slight touches of French cuisine. After 4 years coming every season to Buzios, I finally founded a more than respectable please.

We booked at Farinatta off the back of TripAdvisor ratings and it didn't disappoint. Our hotel arranged a taxi for us and I'm glad we didn't try to find it ourselves, as it's tucked away in a residential neighbourhood, behind a wooden gate with no signs. It felt a bit like being invited into a secret supper club. The garden and restaurant interior are small, but felt intimate without diners being on top of each other.In keeping with the mystery, there were no menus. Everyone got the same entrees - a selection of delicious bread and savoury biscuits, accompanied by a variety of tapanades, roasted vegetables and the like. The chef (and in our case, a translator) came out to explain what was available for the main course. It was a little difficult to follow, but in all honesty she had me at osso bucco, one of my favourite dishes. My husband opted for the prawns and linguine. Both were superb.But a few words of warning: there's no menu, so you have no idea what it's costing you (there is a wine list with prices); it's not cheap (with a bottle of wine, dessert and coffees, our bill was about 700BRL): and they only take cash (which we weren't told in advance). I'd still recommend it as a unique dining experience, with excellent food.

We like to explore little restaurants when traveling. So we went to check Taverne 67 and stayed. Service was extra friendly. They made a huge effort to make our experience the best possible. We went with their suggestion of seafood platter and moqueca. They assured us this was enough for a family of 4, and it was. The seafood was fresh and the meal very tasty. We were all very happy.
