This is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever dined in. The owners (Mike and Ivana) were very attentive since the moment they accepted our (me and my girlfriend) late night reservation. They came out to our table to check on us several times and we had a great chat throughout the evening. We ordered ribs on the barbie and it was cooked to perfection. The sauerkraut "Ivana's style" is the best. Everything was just perfect! As soon as we left the restaurant we had this feeling that we must come back! Do yourself a favor and do not miss a visit to this excellent restaurant as its lovely owners!

You can easily pass right in front of this place without noticing it, cause despite its location on Rua das Pedras, the main comercial street of Buzios, the restaurant has a narrow and very discreet entrance. There's no one trying to catch you on the street also, differently of the most other places. But once inside, you'll be pleased with its great atmosphere, cordial service and the bonus of the bay view. It has the vibe of old French tradition, in a good way, of course. We wandered through this lovely old town and decided to have a rest on the beachfront tables for refreshments and download emails on their free wifi.It is a popular place where some tables are actually on the sand and we could watch the busy waterfront activities.

Waited over an hour for main course and the restaurant was not busy. The waiter deserted us after pouring the first glass of wine and therefore missed out on subsequent orders. The starter was excellent and it went downhill from then on. It promised great things judging by the prices charged, but we left dissatisfied. The table behind us were shown the pudding menu when they hadn't even had their first course served!! It is a great pity as there is such a lot of choice in buzios.
