The setting is stunning , very romantic and the staff were efficient and knowledgeable. Good selection of wines, Starters of bruschetta were great I had a lobster pasta which was good but very salty, my partner opted for fillet steak with a sauce, unfortunately it wasn't a fillet and was average at best with no sauce. Despite the restaurant being quiet the service was extremely rushed which really let the whole experience down. Bottle of wine and the above food was 380 brl, here for another 6 days but not sure I'd rush back which is a shame

As others already have said, it's a bit pricey, but the flavours are there and the seafood is absolutely fresh. Portions are not small, considering the quality of the ingredients. The spectacular view of the Orla Bardot is also a highlight, as is the service. Try to make a reservation, though, specially for dinner.

Stopped here for an early supper and had a delicious meal which was good value. No one else there but it was 6.45 so assume it fills up later. My husband had delicious fish Aranchini with curry mayonnaise and I had shrimp ceviche both very nice. We then had fillet mignon with mushrooms and spaghetti and lobster risotto followed by sharing a chocolate brownie and ice cream. Good service and super view of sunset

From the outside it looks small but nice.Not knowing there specialty I ordered meat Carrpaccio which was great.Still hungry we went with their specialty batatas ( potatoes) with filling. They are like swiss potatoes on top of a great filling of your choice. This was delicious.When we left my wife forgot her glasses, the waiter chased us 2 blocks to give them to us. We went there twice and will definitely go back.

You can easily pass right in front of this place without noticing it, cause despite its location on Rua das Pedras, the main comercial street of Buzios, the restaurant has a narrow and very discreet entrance. There's no one trying to catch you on the street also, differently of the most other places. But once inside, you'll be pleased with its great atmosphere, cordial service and the bonus of the bay view. It has the vibe of old French tradition, in a good way, of course. Better than average but probably falls short of very good. An Italian themed restaurant which is well presented, on the boardwalk in the centre of the sea front restaurant area. Interior and exterior tables, we chose exterior but was surprised that people walked by on the deck a few inches from our table, but not really a problem.Food was OK, pizza thin base and large. Pasta good and the meat dishes well received. Just felt slightly disappointed with our meals but not something specific to report. Service was OK and price was slightly expensive at $B297 (£63) per couple for one course, one round of drinks and coffee.

We booked at Farinatta off the back of TripAdvisor ratings and it didn't disappoint. Our hotel arranged a taxi for us and I'm glad we didn't try to find it ourselves, as it's tucked away in a residential neighbourhood, behind a wooden gate with no signs. It felt a bit like being invited into a secret supper club. The garden and restaurant interior are small, but felt intimate without diners being on top of each other.In keeping with the mystery, there were no menus. Everyone got the same entrees - a selection of delicious bread and savoury biscuits, accompanied by a variety of tapanades, roasted vegetables and the like. The chef (and in our case, a translator) came out to explain what was available for the main course. It was a little difficult to follow, but in all honesty she had me at osso bucco, one of my favourite dishes. My husband opted for the prawns and linguine. Both were superb.But a few words of warning: there's no menu, so you have no idea what it's costing you (there is a wine list with prices); it's not cheap (with a bottle of wine, dessert and coffees, our bill was about 700BRL): and they only take cash (which we weren't told in advance). I'd still recommend it as a unique dining experience, with excellent food.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever dined in. The owners (Mike and Ivana) were very attentive since the moment they accepted our (me and my girlfriend) late night reservation. They came out to our table to check on us several times and we had a great chat throughout the evening. We ordered ribs on the barbie and it was cooked to perfection. The sauerkraut "Ivana's style" is the best. Everything was just perfect! As soon as we left the restaurant we had this feeling that we must come back! Do yourself a favor and do not miss a visit to this excellent restaurant as its lovely owners!

Pros: the ambiance is amazing. The decor is amazing. Excellent service. Very nice place and sight overlooking the rua das pedras. But the best part is good - the Nero sepia pasta with shrimp was amazing. The bread also amazing. But the best part was the dessert: cheese pie with green corn gelatto and doce de leite - simply amazing. The price is actually lower than I expected (~r$100 / plate). The pork gyoza for entree also amazing. 10/10Cons: that I can't visit more often because it's in buzios. My favorite restaurant up till now in buzios was bar do Zé, now it's 74.
