Came here about half a dozen times during our week in Queenstown. Happy hour drinks are $5, and even out of happy hour they're some of the cheapest you could hope for in Queenstown. Mulled wine and cider both amazing, jar cocktails fruity and refreshing, beer fantastic and food delicious. We had the vegetarian nachos three times, going out of way to make it here during happy hour for them. Halloumi fries and cauliflower bites also delicious. Cozy inside and outside, with dozens and dozens of strings of fairylights draped over the courtyard. Great place, will definitely be back during our next visit.

Food was good. A bit expensive, but everywhere in Queenstown was. Might be an idea to book. During winter try to get a table near the fire. Parking could be a big problem. You could take the ferry from Queenstown which drops you right at the hotel that the pub is at.Thanks for your review Phill, Glad to hear you enjoyed the food, a place by the fire is certainly popular in the winter months and booking is encouraged as you said. Hopefully we can welcome you again in the future.

Came in here during a rainy day in Queenstown to grab some beers and relax. What a great selection of beers and such a nice, relaxing atmosphere with friendly service. We weren’t very hungry and not planning on eating but they had a great selection of food so we ordered loaded fries to nibble on. We were pleasantly surprised how big the portion was and shared as a family of 4 while my husband and I finished our beers. Would return if we ever came back to Queenstown and grab a full meal with our beers next time. Definitely a great place for beer lovers who want to try something they haven’t had before and a perfect place for a rainy day or after an action-filled day to unwind.
