Ordered a takeaway meal and it took forever -- must have waited 45+ minutes for the food after being told several times it would only be another 5 minutes. They need some time management or they were waiting for the vegetables to grow. Disappointing -- even if they were busy being up front and telling me the real time frame would have been helpful. Food good when it finally arrived but the delay unfortunately left me disappointed.Thanks for the feedback and sorry, our driver had trouble finding your address. Roaring Megs is an elegant restaurant in Queenstown, with white tablecloths, attentive service and an excellent wine list. It is a small, family owned/run place and reflects the care and dedication of chef Jeanneret. The menu is not extensive, but every item is carefully prepared and presented. Try the Pork Belly appetizer or the three cheese ravioli. For a larger group, start with the Tasting Platter. The highlight is the rack of lamb, or, if you prefer, the confit of lamb shoulder. They are superb! If you are looking for something different, the Marlborough Hare or the Fiordland Venison might be your best choices. The extensive list of desserts deserves your attention too, so be sparing with bread and butter. The wine list focuses on local wines and the wines are well selected and priced.

We ate brunch at Yonder on our last day in Queenstown. We initially sat outside as it had a gorgeous atmosphere, however, with impending rain/snow we headed inside to a booth. The inside atmosphere is cosy yet spacious, never feeling like we were on top of each other. I ordered the pork benedict choosing to swap out the pork for 'streaky bacon' for an added $2, which I felt was a bit of a rip off considering streaky bacon would cost considerably less than shredded pork and the amount of bacon that was substituted in was pretty poor. The overall flavour was good. My friend ordered eggs on toast which came exactly as stated, don't expect anything extra like butter on your toast. Seemed to be a great catch up place for the locals. Free wifi was also a plus as we waited to hear whether our flight home was cancelled or not.Hey Ashleigh, Thanks for the review! We're always happy to supply butter, in fact we've actually started providing butter upon request as a sustainability measure because so many people were throwing it out. We use premium bacon, so its actually more expensive than expected. Glad you loved the flavour, hopefully,â we can grab those two missing stars from you next time!

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast and great coffee here with my husband and 9 year old. The cafe has a very cool vibe, which we enjoyed as much as our meals! Cabinet full of amazing treats we will have to go back and try!
