With a well-balanced menu ranging from steak and fries to beautifully plated complex dishes, this restaurant is one of my favorites for both family and business dinners. I love the decor, with a book theme nicely complementing the fact that the restaurant is situated next to a library. What I love most though, is the excellent and knowledgeable staff. They take pride in their work, and it shows.

It is a hotel restaurant with nice view by the river. We arrived in Dordrecht quite late so not so big choice anymore. First sign that something is wrong was that the place was completely empty. We decided to stay there after checking another place near by. Food generally was quite ok but some details should be improved. Service nice but very slow - needs some training. After having good impression we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and we informed them that we will check breakfast tomorrow and if ok we will take it. When entered the restaurant in the morning it was completely empty and no buffet. I was searching for someone for 5 min. And finally I found some cleaning lady. She showed us a table and started preparing breakfast by herself! So She put a dirty rag at the bar table and without washing her hands started making coffee and taking some croissants! So You can not have good restaurant with such cleanliness standards - in fact it seems that place has no standards. Something is wrong with the restaurant as they changed the name so You can't see all these bad opinions they had earlier about the restaurant when the name was simply Bellevue as name of the hotel. They changed the name and most probably forgot to change standards.

I visited here for dinner with my partner as it had been recommended to us. OMG we were not disappointed!!! We had the chateaubriand which was cooked exactly how we like it, served with tasty chips and ratatouille. We then shared a strawberry shortcake for dessert and the flavours were delicious. It is the best meal we have had in a very long time and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Staff were lovely, attentive, polite, knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Villa Augustus is a hotel & restaurant in the middle of a (vegetable) garden, on the Wantij in Dordrecht.
A monumental 19th century watertower converted into a hotel. With a formal garden in the front. Divided from the huge restaurant by a vegetables-filled garden. The restaurant is located in a modernist forties building, also with a great terrace catering for sunny days. I always opt for oysters and or a sea fruit platter, invariably good. There is a large reading table with all the newspapers, perfect for a cup of coffee and cake on a rainy day. Last but not least a nice shop where home made goodies can be bought. Unique and in Dordrecht.

Returned with friends for a lateish supper. As usual, the welcome was warm & friendly, couple of drinks at the bar then seated for dinner. Restaurant is really warm, cozy, staff attentive and the food, excellent as usual as was the wine selection, overall, they consistently deliver exactly what we wanted, lovely spot, happy environment, great food & drinks, whats not to like?

The dishes are a mix of fine ingredients, new techniques, but also respect for the classic cuisine with Mediterranean influences especially from Spain and Italy. DeliCees restaurant uses fresh seasonal products. inspired We are constantly looking for new

The best Thai restaurant in Dordrecht. The restaurant is owned and managed by your dedicated Thai host: Khun Tong
Great food, warm people and great, friendly, personal service. During our stay in Dordrecht we went there 3 times, the 3rd time bringing back friends. The food is really tasty and authentic. The best table is a table for 2 by the window overlooking the canal. The only downside is there is another table for 2 right next to it, really close, but the 2 tables would be ideal for a group of 4. Highly recommended, as much for the staff as for the food... an enjoyable dining experience.

We visited The Erwtenpeller Bistro on the evening of Valentine's Day withjust the two of us. We were received at the door. The decor was warm / cozy with a gas fireplace through which one can see the other part of the restaurant. All tables are arranged so that you can always look out with a view at the busy rivers Merwede, North and Oude Maascoming together and the skyline of the historic city of Dordrecht. The dining experience is beyond that of what you'd normally expect from a bistro. My husband opted for the 3 course Valentine menu (30 euros) and I made my choice from the "normal" three-course menu (34 euros). Possibly we could choose 4 courses. We got an appetizer and fresh bread beforehand. The signs were put up tasteful. The fries were fabulously tasty and there was also a salad. The meat super tender (veal rib-eye and sirloin from the Valentine's menu). Really mature flavor. If I can still give something of criticism: the dessert was very tasty, but for a bistro it may in my opinion have more volume. And one of the waitresses was a bit unsure and uncomfortable about. We assume that it will be fine, because it seems to us inspiring to work in such a fine restaurant. We definitely come back and take over other people it!

We bring Paris and new York to Dordrecht. BistroTwee33 on the Wijnstraat in the old historical centre of Dordrecht is the ideal place to drink a good glass of wine during happy hour time or in the evening to dine in French style. By tasting the dishes you
When we arrived at this medium sized bistro (about 50 seats) we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The waiter (Peter) went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We wanted to order wine by the glass and had plenty to choose from against acceptable prices for a decent size glass. Water from the tap for free (that's how it should be!). All our dishes were well prepared and tasted delicious and were nicely decorated and laid out. For 50 euro per person for a three-course meal, accompanied with five glasses of good wine (the desert wines are worthwhile mentioning) we left feeling very happy and will certainly be back soon!
