Go by car on narrow roads just outside the city of Nyköping to Svärdsklova. A newly opened restaurant sits directly by the sea and you can enjoy both good food and a wonderful view. Nice staff and decent prices. The archipelago is stunning.

If you like steak this is a good visit. They do other things too.. but steaks here were excellent. No tables were available so they made us welcome at the bar...not cheap ...but Swedish eating isn't.

This restaurant is in a superb location, itâs right next to the river. The building itself has a traditional Swedish look with a very relaxing feel inside.The food was fantastic, and at very reasonable price too. I would strongly recommend a visit here if you come to Nykoping as you certainly wonât be disappointed.

Large terrace full of guests. But we found it too chilly at 16 degrees Celsius and had dinner inside this apparantly quite old wooden house. Only Swedish menu available, though the young staff speaks good English. We chose cod. Which turned out being large portions of potatoes, shrimps and well cooked cod. However the whole was rather tasteless, no sauce whatever being served. At SKr 239,- pretty expensive. Good glass of Chardonnay (Skr 85,-) and simple but good dessert, fruits and vanilla icecream (Skr 79,-). Friendly staff. Too simple a dinner, too expensive.

Had a meal here and it was very nice, service was good and waiter chatty - even had chat outside whilst waiting for a cab.we enjoyed the food - fish and chips for me, steak for hubby and son.banana split for afters was lovely

We had lunch in the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. GREAT selection of wild game, fish, salad, breads, soup, and dessert. The smoked wild boar was amazing and the soup was honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and wonderfully helpful. Great place to walk around inside and see all the history of the hunting lodge. Spent several hours walking around the grounds afterwards in the beautiful gardens of the nearby castle. A bit off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find it !!! It is a three hour round trip for us and worth every minute. Can not say enough nice things about this place. This was not our first visit nor will it be our last.We all at Ãster Malma get so proud and happy when we receive so much credit for our work. Thanks Tim
