Went for dinner with my husband and son, it was Friday buffet, the food was hot, fresh, tasty with a great selection, my husband loved the won ton soup and had two bowls, the service was friendly and prompt, kept asking if we needed anything, I would love to go eat here every Friday. We also went two weeks earlier and ordered a few dishes off the menu, big orders , again hot and very fresh.

Same food, different restaurant, predictable. Just love their new coffee though, probably better than Tim's now.

A few nights back I was on a business trip and decided to try the pub special at the Ridge Tap House - filet mignon. I would have been okay with a typical pub steak, I should have raised my expectations as the chef prepared a perfect textbook medium-rare filet, served with white asparagus and mashed potatoes, that pretty well blows the doors in on specialty steak houses in Calgary, Houston or San Francisco. I think Pappas Brothers or Caesars would be proud to have served the steak I had. The next night I went back for the ribeye, which faced over 25 years of comparison with Caesar's famous plate. Same chef nailed it again. Once lucky, twice a trend! Simple scrumptious steak in Slave Lake - I will return. Excellent service both nights and excellent steak.

Nice place to go for lunch once in a while. All of their food is home made and tastes great. It's definitely on the expensive side for a soup and Sandwich and they aren't opened late or weekends but still a nice place to go.
