A la Carte Restaurant in Skaelskoer harbor. We have approx 60 seats indoor and 150 seats outdoor. Our outdoor seats is right by the water, and we have one Terrace right in the water. If you only want to drink a cop of coffee/the you are also very welcome. In the summertime we have Jazz every saturday from 11,00 - 14,00 if the weather alloys it. The jazz is free of charge.

Solsikken, Danish for 'Sunflower', is located at the harbour in Skaelskoer, an easy ten-minute trip off the motorway when heading towards Copenhagen. Take the first exit off the bridge that connects the island of Fyn and Sjælland, home of Hans Christian Andersen. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and the service was friendly. Even the locals dining at a nearby table were friendly, greeting us when we arrived and when they left. Two at our three-top ordered typical Danish lunches: a fish plate with chicken salad and a near tartar with pom frittes; surprised to see 'Chicken Nachos' on the menu, a very unDanish menu item, I took a chance and they were fantastic! Two teenagers, obviously local ordered them, so it seems this quasi-healthy junk food lunch has gone global! No surprise that the salsa was mild and the jalapeno peppers were served as a side!
This is obviously the local hangout for football, the 'give away' the huge Television at the bar! This is now a bookmark on the GPS!

I was part of a pre-booked party of eight that ate here while working in Korsor. It is a delightful little restaurant with great atmosphere and superb food. In a town with very little choice when it comes to places to eat, Restaurant Madam Bagger doesn't need to try hard to stand out - but to their credit it still does. Highly recommend!

We went there for a confirmation lunch. Set menu. Friendly staff. food was nice. The table was well laid with white linen, classic and traditional but clean, and we had a nice private room with windows on 2 sides overlooking the harbour. it is great for public transport the bus stop is literally outside the door.The location is very good, byt the harbour and at the end of the walking main street for the very small town of Skælskør.

Went to the restaurant for their Sunday lunch buffet. The selection was good for a typical danish lunch and is recommendable. The staff is friendly but they were very busy when we were there. Good for vegetarians Really good coffee

Food is okey and the service is very friendly. They could lift the standard with a bit more effort in the kitchen: the last original touch.
If you announce Tapas on the menu you should stay away from the Danish hotel concept of tapas. Its not tapas. Go Spanish and make it more original. The dishes on the menu should be perfect. So a bit more practice on those.
The menu and the kitchen is above average - but still some improvements needed considering the location and clientele.

We were for a business trip in Denmark and reached Skaelskoer at around 9pm. When looking for food this was the last place where we still could get something. My colleague had a pizza and I ordered a hamburger. The food was prepared fast and was good.

I think it's a menu that changes daily, but there's only 2 starters and 2 main courses to choose from (and 2 of them is the same dish i either starter- or main course size) only 1 plate of 3 pre-chosen cheeses and 1 dessert?!
OR you could choose something "from the bar" like clubsandwich or tuna Sandwich...
But for my birthdaydinner I could only get 1 dessert, and I didn't even like that one, so no dessert for my birthday.
I was disappointed.
BUT the food that was served, was delicious! Very well cooked and prepared as well as plated. And the staff is friendly. There is a middleaged man that goes around and helps people, as well as explains in more details about the wine and food. A very nice experience :-)

It is always pleasure to return to the Island of Agerso, where despite it's size it has a wonderful restaurant, with great food, and a warm and friendly welcome. During the summer you can sit outside and they have specialty evenings. They have rooms, though I have not stayed in them, but have enjoyed traditional danish food, well served with good portions, and a friendly smile from Karen and Renny, the owners. For an enjoyable day, leave your car at the ferry terminal, go over to the island, hire a bike from the "Kro", cycle around the island and then have lunch/dinner, before returning to the Mainland. A great unforgettable experience.

Große Portionen, übliche Preise. Die Speisekarte ist bzgl. Pizzas sehr unübersichtlich: zig unstrukturierte Kombinationen von Belägen. Das Angebot unterscheidet sich nicht deutlich vom gegenüber liegenden Restaurant Avanti. Aber der erste Eindruck ist netter. Man kann im Sommer schön draußen an Kanal und Haupteinkaufsstraße sitzen.
