We found Skipjack's online and decided to give it a try. It was an average experience. The food was good, the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The three of us each had a seafood entree. Again, everything was good, but average. It is a nice evening out, but you probably won't be wowed.

Although many of the reviews of this property and the food quality are positive, our experience was mostly negative. Our waitstaff was surly and unresponsive, even by Island standards. The prices were over the top for drinks and food that was decidedly average.

We had supper one night of our vacation and went back a couple days later for lunch. The food was excellent, I think I had the special of Mahi Mahi. The ambiance was very casual and our server, Marco did a great job.On the return for lunch I tried the Spicy Jerk Chicken Wrap. If you like spicy hot, try this excellent wrap. I only planned to eat half and take the rest home but I ate the whole thing...very delicious.Some reviewers would only give this place a four because it isn't the lap of air conditioned luxury. But I gave it a five because it wasn't air conditioned and it is what it is, a casual bar/restaurant with great food.

I was surprised by my family for my birthday and I have to a big shout out to the entire team. The food was very good and the chef is of the chain. I will recommend this place to all my friends because the buffet they served everything were very tasty.

My husband and I had two delightful dinners here during our week stay in St Martin. We generally always try to make this restaurant one of our first stops. It is really delightful, with an "old world ambiance", attentive but not intrusive service, and "over the top" cuisine.The view from the balconied tables is magical, and certainly creates a romantic atmosphere. We tried the sole, lobster bisque, gazpacho, and a grand mariner soufflé. Everything was perfect. I felt that the portions were just right for us. The beurre blanc sauce accompanying the sole, and the grand mariner sauce were perfect. Their chef is very talented and creates his sauces with real knowledge and expertise. On our first night our waiter chose for us a fine French chablis, not over priced. On our second evening the owner, Nada, stopped by, and we enjoyed a delightful conversation. We have always had very personal service here. The restaurant is a little difficult to find, but not far off the beaten path. The valet parks your car and is waiting when you leave. This restaurant is sure to create very special memories, and we can't wait to come back to St Martin and try some of their other delicacies!

We arrived late from our flight so we wanted something simple and easy. We were delighted at how good the pizza was!! The dough was tasty and crisp. Their pizza options had a nice variety too. Also, their daily specials and pasta dishes looked good. The bar has some good drinks and you can enjoy the view of the water!

Service was excellent! The desire to please quite evident. The serving sizes were generous, but the meals were disappointing. The steak was okay, but was served with greasy hash brown potatoes... not acceptable for a $48 plate. The duck breast was tender, but not outstanding. Neither meal included vegetables.The staff wanted our feedback. Even the chef came out to chat with us. We wanted to be helpful without being unkind. We wish them well, but wouldn't recommend... certainly at those prices.

Stopped at this small bistro at the marina. Part of a multitude of varied restaurants in a square along a small inlet full of yachts, large and sleek.Mario Bistro serves excellent food!Every dish was delicious. Presentation was artful.Each staff person was attentive.Thumbs up.

My husband, I and all of our guests could not have been happier with Le Sand for our Wedding. We had the venue for the evening to share with our 32 guests. We had the ceremony on the beach before sunset, cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing. Everyone was amazing by everything. The food, the drinks, the venue space, the live music and the DJ. Le Sand had a package available for us (we did not choose) and everything sounded great but when we actually had the wedding- we had no idea it would be that amazing. Noone could stop talking about the food, the beauty of the location, the sexy french singer and the amazing DJ that played until we were unable to dance any longer!Almost everyone of us is from Chicago, some have very high food expectations and even they were blown away. I was sad I couldn't finish it all but my dress was very fitted and it was a busy day! Neither of us would change a single thing about the night. Parking may be a little challenging, but your evening will be well worth any slight inconvenience, Oliver & Mattias were the consummate wonderful hosts and the service could not have been better from the moment we entered. The dinner was amazing, as all the other reviewers will confirm - you will not be disappointed. We could not have been happier. Do not miss this gem when visiting Sint Maarten!
